  • go to the death bead and tell him i can't feel sorry for u and this is the last time u will ever see me. :P

  • This is the most intense, brave, profound information on youtube and anywhere else.

  • i brutally relate to this video. it was the most powerful experience ive had on youtube if not film or for that matter life. ive felt most of this(there people not some blood line lineage OF HONOR) for a long time its nice to hear someone insure my doubts about the nature of the guilt. to hate someone it seams mandatory to love.

  • Compelling arguments. However your own mother probably really disagrees with your approach to life, yet she was willing to put you up while you finished your studies. Probably because she loves you. Usually a mothers love is unconditional. She is not evil, just dysfunctional. If all your friends abandoned you for sticking to your principles, you'd at least hope some people in your family can offer unconditional love. But I could be wrong.

  • Is it really this cut and dried? What if they were a little fucked up to you but meant well, have learned a bit in their old age, and are not the same person? People change throughout life, and I think this final 'sayonara' would fuck you up down the road. Unless you're talking about a truly evil, narcissistic, sociopathic person. Most people are fucked up but well-meaning and a few years estrangement may have provided them the humility to be a better person at the end, worthy of forgiveness.

  • @TreachMarkets but its the same thing. you say "most people are fucked up but well-meaning and a few years estrangement may have provided them the humility". so if I refuse to go to the funeral just call me "fucked up but well-meaning and a few years estrangement may have provided them the humility"

  • @lupinyonsei Refusing the funeral isn't really a big deal to me, different people deal with death in different ways anyway. I was speaking more of shutting someone out who's still alive and wants to try again at a relationship, or make amends.

  • @TreachMarkets you didnt watch the whole video. Stefan says that we should maybe forgive those that really have changed.

  • haha goo. very cool video though. im starting at the beginning and watching um all like i did with the amazing atheist

  • Bullsh*t ! bye.

  • although all of these arguments are incredibly valid, sometimes life isn't about getting even, it's about being the better man

that's what atticus finch would say

  • I never read a law "on my harm" saying "be a better man". Human beings spend their whole life trying to satisfy their interests. These could range from being good to others to even dominate the whole world.

People who find satisfaction on helping others have developed a huge sense of empathy. People who want to rule and dominate others share a lot in common with psychopaths; they have repressed their sense of empathy.

There is no good nor evil. Moral is a biased concept.

  • I know this is a very serious matter and I am very into it.

It was just hilarious when Stefan said "what they need to goo".

K i'm watching the rest now.

  • I agree with you of not obiligating to attend to a family member's funeral or hospital stay that I am not close with, and let alone do not get along with. We cannot choose our families, but we can choose who to interact with and how I interact with them.

That is why I hate going to funerals of my initial or extended family members I do not know anything about them. It is a waste of my time and my kindness to someone that did not want to take an effort in.

  • I don't see how refusing to give comfort to someone on their deathbed is continuing evil in the world. If someone is on their deathbed, they are not likely to get up and start spreading evil once forgiving.

I do see that you may have been reinforcing your own belief that giving comfort may have been giving into a form of empathy you don't find moral, which might have threatened your resolve.

    (thoughts at 09:13)

  • You're right about "it's not your job to give aid and comfort and time and emotional support", but I might think there's a sort of 'unofficial' monetary debt. If you pay that back though, they won't be able to cite it.

  • funny ending! "stop listen to me"
