Superstar Saga was a good game, but Super Mario RPG was better.

Bowser's Inside Story is looking like it might top SMRPG though. I mean, the only real reasons SMRPG is better than SS is because Geno, Mallow, and Bowser are playable characters.

As a matter of fact, we were talking about this today.

My brother and I both agree Paper Marios 1 and 2 top Bowser's Inside Story, which tops SMRPG, which tops SS, which tops PiT. Heck, almost any Mario RPG will top PiT, we hate the babies so much. XD

Actually, having played Inside Story up to the train battle, it's looking like SMRPG is still the best. Bowser was a better developed character in SMRPG, unless I'm not to the "good part" in Inside Story.

Although Bowser was also done pretty much right in the first Paper Mario. I mean, the whole "in love with Peach" thing needs a lot more exploration in the mainstream games.
