  • @titlinihaan , ohh all of your recipes are very special and made in a such of professional way and it's all decorated with a delicious hilarious tone, you're special!

  • i want that!!!

  • Was that castor, confectioners, or granulated sugar in your meringue?

  • @hannab98 Caster

  • ur awesome!

  • anybody got the conversion to cups and such.. i'm american

  • What can I use as a substitute for the Vinegar? :)

  • @AkiraBakaaa Why would you sub the vinegar? You could use cream of tartar

  • @AkiraBakaaa I would try lemon juice..the acetic acid of vinegar can "cook" an egg so I guess you need something acid to make things work...

  • La meringue seule est déjà un régal pour les yeux ! et avec ce qu'il y a dessus ....

  • yeah!! go New Zealand :D

  • hi! i just attempted my third pavlova, your recipe this time but i just can't get it right. it's always too watery and isn't solid enough to form a shape...what should i do? x

  • @Rowdiumx Are you whisking the eggs enough? It takes quite a long time for the whites to become stiff

  • @TitliNihaan yes i believe so, i whisk them until they start to look like foam..what else could i be doing wrong? :-(

  • @Rowdiumx But is it a stiff foam? When you lift the whisk out does it form a peak which keeps its shape?

  • @TitliNihaan no not really, it' wont keep it's shape.. :-(

  • @Rowdiumx Then you need to beat it for longer. It usually takes me at least 10 minutes of beating with my electric whisk before I get close. The mixture should be very smooth and keep a peak when you lift the whisk out.

  • @TitliNihaan i'll try that and let you know what happens! thanks! :-) <3

  • @Rowdiumx It helps if you actually do what the recipe calls for....

  • Will you taste the viniger

  • @23heavie I can't

  • loved the ian pavlov's classical conditioning experiment incorporation..... you are SO funny and entertaining...

  • It's in the oven now! Can't wait!

I will try a different filling with mascarpone, cream and fruit!!

  • A big stiffie??!?!?! :O

  • BTW your meringue looks delicious

  • Is the purpose of the vinegar to keep the meringue together?

  • @BlackWolf4830 I believe it regulates the acidity which helps the meringue hang together better

  • LOVE pavlova, made it for the first time a few months ago and it was a huge it. Who cares if it cracks? It all gets covered up with whipped cream LOL. I topped mine with strawberries and kiwi fruit. Love the vids Miss Titli!

  • you are so great!!!!! professional and funny!!!! i really thank you! ;)

  • A nice big, stiffy? Can't say I haven't had that happen to me. xD

  • Salam titli,

I am a Pakistani who has been living in NZ for over 4 years now, but the only kiwi food i know of is fish n chips...

can you cover some more of kiwi dishes?? not the deserts but main courses??

    thanks

  • jaja this one has a lot of stiffies (sounds like my kind of cuisine ) love you as always (:

  • Great video, the quips are great, ramming speed !.....very clear and precise instructions.....excellent.....

  • nice!

    you're awesome titli :)

  • Nooehs this didn't come up in my subscribers videos oO

  • I love your humor

  • I love making pavlova, but every time I have ever made this delicious dessert it has come out with massive cracks. Yours looks amazing and it did not crack very much at all, so do you have any tips as to how to make it not have a thousand cracks in it? Also I was wondering about the whipping cream. It looks a bit yellow but I have only ever seen pure white whipping cream. Do you know why?

  • @SHUTMEUPriot In the past I found that pavlova cracked more if I didn't cook it for long enough to make the crust thick enough, and if it cooled too quickly. I have yet to make a "crackless" pavlova but maybe one day I'll succeed :-)

I think the cream looks slightly yellow because my pavlova is whiter and possibly the brand of cream.

  • Can I use apples and kiwis instead of raspberries? What other fruits can I use?

  • @Alalalalala11 Anything your little heart desires...

  • When I grow older I want to be as lovingly bizarre and awesome as you.

  • awesome recipe, thank you =]

  • A STIFFY!

  • and than how the dessert looks like? is it hard as a meringue or is it quite soft?

  • @nefermaatra Crisp outside with a marshmallow inside

  • @TitliNihaan really nice Titli! =)

  • what do you and can you do with the yolks? Just don't want to discard them.

  • @nmngirl It's amazing how often I cook omelettes at about the same time I make a pavlova - I add the same number of eggs as I have yolks to make the omelette mix.

  • I've never been a huge fan of Pavlova, but great vid anyway Titli :-)

  • ENFIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OHHHHHH. i actually got that. thank you honors biology.

  • oh a kingdom for a baiser sry i meant a pavlover ^^

  • Anytime I google the recipe for pavlova it's soo complicated to do :( But tis just looks so simple nd very well explained :) And it's great 'cause I have a tea party tomorrow and I have to bring something sweet :) Thank you for being so super awesome! ^_^

  • amazing TittliNihaan, as usual!

  • Actually, the "Invented in NZ" thing was just a rumour started by jealous Kiwis.

    Yes, I'm Australian. :p

  • @lashbear well I'm a new Zealander, and I can guarantee it was invented by New Zealand in celebration of Anna Pavalova, bloody aussies :p

    In Love, Pia

  • LOL @ dog ringing bell! What a lovely dessert! I have never heard of adding vinegar to meringue. Does that help keep it together while baking? It's such a pretty presentation!

  • hahahahahahahaha :D

  • The noise you made at 3:55 is exactly the noise my girlfriend makes when she finishes my stiffy.

I'm talking about the meringue, of course.

  • Thank you Titli! Love this recipee, and also love how Pavlov's dogs now have the bell...

  • who doesn't like getting stiff ones in the kitchen :D

  • "A nice, big, stiffy!!" LOL

  • lol love you and your recipes

  • oh titli darling, this seems like it'd be quite a lovely summer treat.. i'd love to know your thoughts on jarred egg whites that are sold pre-separated. are they acceptable.. i've never tried them.

  • this is amazing!! mmmm!! btw do you have a video for chicken munchurian?

  • How do you serve it?????

  • I love this dessert, hope to visit New Zealand one day, it're really popular there! You're so humorous and a good cook/host =)

  • what is your favourite food EVER?

  • We Austalians created lamingtons & damper :D so its all good.
