@titlinihaan , ohh all of your recipes are very special and made in a such of professional way and it's all decorated with a delicious hilarious tone, you're special!
hi! i just attempted my third pavlova, your recipe this time but i just can't get it right. it's always too watery and isn't solid enough to form a shape...what should i do? x
@Rowdiumx Then you need to beat it for longer. It usually takes me at least 10 minutes of beating with my electric whisk before I get close. The mixture should be very smooth and keep a peak when you lift the whisk out.
LOVE pavlova, made it for the first time a few months ago and it was a huge it. Who cares if it cracks? It all gets covered up with whipped cream LOL. I topped mine with strawberries and kiwi fruit. Love the vids Miss Titli!
I love making pavlova, but every time I have ever made this delicious dessert it has come out with massive cracks. Yours looks amazing and it did not crack very much at all, so do you have any tips as to how to make it not have a thousand cracks in it? Also I was wondering about the whipping cream. It looks a bit yellow but I have only ever seen pure white whipping cream. Do you know why?
@SHUTMEUPriot In the past I found that pavlova cracked more if I didn't cook it for long enough to make the crust thick enough, and if it cooled too quickly. I have yet to make a "crackless" pavlova but maybe one day I'll succeed :-)
I think the cream looks slightly yellow because my pavlova is whiter and possibly the brand of cream.
@nmngirl It's amazing how often I cook omelettes at about the same time I make a pavlova - I add the same number of eggs as I have yolks to make the omelette mix.
Anytime I google the recipe for pavlova it's soo complicated to do :( But tis just looks so simple nd very well explained :) And it's great 'cause I have a tea party tomorrow and I have to bring something sweet :) Thank you for being so super awesome! ^_^
LOL @ dog ringing bell! What a lovely dessert! I have never heard of adding vinegar to meringue. Does that help keep it together while baking? It's such a pretty presentation!
oh titli darling, this seems like it'd be quite a lovely summer treat.. i'd love to know your thoughts on jarred egg whites that are sold pre-separated. are they acceptable.. i've never tried them.

What can I use as a substitute for the Vinegar? :)
AkiraBakaaa 1 month ago
@AkiraBakaaa Why would you sub the vinegar? You could use cream of tartar
TitliNihaan 1 month ago
@AkiraBakaaa I would try lemon juice..the acetic acid of vinegar can "cook" an egg so I guess you need something acid to make things work...

Rowdiumx 4 months ago in playlist Titli
@Rowdiumx Are you whisking the eggs enough? It takes quite a long time for the whites to become stiff
TitliNihaan 4 months ago
@TitliNihaan yes i believe so, i whisk them until they start to look like foam..what else could i be doing wrong? :-(
Rowdiumx 4 months ago in playlist Titli
@Rowdiumx But is it a stiff foam? When you lift the whisk out does it form a peak which keeps its shape?
TitliNihaan 4 months ago
@TitliNihaan no not really, it' wont keep it's shape.. :-(

BlackWolf4830 6 months ago
Is the purpose of the vinegar to keep the meringue together?
BlackWolf4830 6 months ago
@BlackWolf4830 I believe it regulates the acidity which helps the meringue hang together better
