  • Oh, and the terminology makes me laugh :D

  • You are using their tossed attacking warmup as a basis for speed and reaction time. Attacks like that rarely happen. The ball is being tossed extremely tight to the net and there are no blockers present. A set that tight with blockers present would usually result in a huge block. Sets are typically 1-1.5 metres off the net enabling the attacker to have angles around the block. If you'll notice, when you are showing actual game footage, the attacks are nowhere near the attack line.

  • Yeah. I was just having such a great time at the game.  I was touring the country making physics videos and wanted to try and fit something in that was simple enough for a regular high school class. Nothing fancy.

    But they have something called a 'kill shot' for a reason. :)
