True! Americans and canadians do a lot of exploring by ATV. The area where we explored is aproximately 1500 kilometers from where we live, and the nearest town is about 400 kilometers from where the trail starts.
We did some exploring in France, Switzerland and Germany. The countries are so tiny, and the roads took us right to the mountains! we could walk everywhere! It was great! But then all of those countries would fit into one of our states...Cute!
Kootenay Cat, we are all children of this planet. It is here for us to enjoy as "brothers" and "sisters" It is the home of your family just as much as it is the home of mine. But we will never ever own it. It was here for millions of years before us, and most likely will be here for millions after we have come and gone. Let's all enjoy our time on this earth together as one famiy. Videos like this one allow even ancient men like me to witness it's splendor!
Great video! And Tribalcheef, I see this land as my land also, my Father and his Father were both raised on it. Guess that's one of the reasons I respect it as well.
That Indian cheef guy is right on. There paving more of canada for parking lots and taking away all are places to ride. It is OK to build mega roads through to Banff cause it makes money, but don't ride there. You will get in shit.
If only they had a protective society for this country back in 1492 then my people would still have their land. There would not be a four lane super highway across the nation, and we would still be able to live in the wilderness by a clear mountain stream. I am glad you took this video. We live in a phenominal country. I did not see any evidence of abuse of my ancestors land, and you would be considered a friend to nature. Thank you for sharing.
kimbeattie--A mtn bike leave's a large carbon footprint during manufacturing -and you drive youre subaru or suv to reach the backcountry-you non motorized people make me laugh-youre house is made of wood -and so is youre toilet paper ---- fact - anyone who is against atv's is against the elderly and handycapped having access to the back country -- I think ill go and ride the bighorn wilderness now - thanks for the tip on a great ride
No - he did not take the sign everyone - he just didn't want us to leave him there, all by himself, out in the vast wilderness, no cell phone, no internet, noooo YOUTUBE!
Did you really take out that sign?? I thought it meant that you did not want yer buds to leave you in there! It would be a beautiful place to be left behind. Seriously awesome video!
Lol I like the short video of you holding the sign "take you bring in" lol jeez haha your not supposed to put the proof of you takin the sign on the internet!! haha jus jokes.Looks like a really pretty place!!!
Hey Warren you lazy shit! Drop by the shop and tell us where this is or we will tell stories about you! We don't care if they are lies! Since you retired from LA, we aint seen you! WTF? And they sure ain't the same to deal with no more!!
Play nice! The truth is, that we did see a few Grizzly Bears. On one run, HB saw a mother Griz and three cubs. She kept the throttle down, and the bears did not get her...
I seem to recall that there were a lot of big horn sheep there. And I suppose making love should be a memorable experience. Especially if you had a partner!
looks like you guys had some fun i joined an atv club and i miss some of those layed back rides that have no destanation

You can see why they createded the bighorn wilderness area in Alberta, and the rules for off road vehicles ( they don't allow them in the mountains).

Then you don't have to out run the BBB-BBB-Bear. You just have to outrun your friends, right?
