the wii is bullshit when i first bought it i played on it for two weeks now what its in my closet not open for almost a year. i am playing on my ps3 online for free or the xbox 360 which why i get every dlc before every console . at least the XBL deserve to be paid to go online but for the wii i dont fucking think so .

But, for some download content like songs of Rock Band 2, you will need to pay.

If you look on the monster hunter 3 cover for japan, it has the red/orange wi-fi logo and at the bottum of it says 'Pay to Play'. After that I just gave up on nintendo and started saving for a ps3.

ITS FOR DLC!!!! i read an ign article and it said this "Aoyama explained that NWFC will remain a free service, but forthcoming experiences will require users to pay a fee to enjoy." which you can still play for free but if you want to download new songs say for guitar hero you have to pay, which is like a 1.50 per song so it not to bad!! geez, people can be so boobish soemtimes!!

The DS is getting a Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Release a GTA for the Wii with some kind of Multiplayer option and begin charging for the online DEAD ON... That will drives sells from Rockstar, Wii Consoles everywhere, sucess in launching your Pay-2-Play..

It's if you want additional content is when you can "Pay To Play"... The game's are complete with their online (if it has wifi) buy you can ADD-ON with payed content.

BTW I STRONGLY reccomend you recondsider buying the PS3, just my opinion don't flame me. =/
