Who would look at them and think "They play the cello, has to be the cello!"? I love bands that throw you off balance like this and then blow you away with how they sound and there isn't really anything quite like Apocalyptica.

Those high notes in the beginning are artificial harmonics which can be created by playing one note stopped and the other finger lightly touching the string.

thier false harmonics (thumb on a note and 3 1/2 steps up just touch the point), but they're extremely hard to find on the cello due to the precision required, u normally end up with a "squeak" (really, really high harmonics...)
