The purpose of this type of corset is to mold the body to what was at the time the fashionable silhouette ("cone" shaped, and lots of clevage)

You look good in it, but you might think about getting fake breast implants, there not real , you just put them in your bra and pull them out when your done. i get them at wall-mart for like 5.00. They work like a charm with wearing corsets.

Yes, I know, I was just using it as a pirate costume, because, as gemgen101 said, it reminded me if the outfits worn by Elizabeth Swan :)

I used plastic cable wraps....from Home Depot haha. They work quite well :)

the corset pattern is from elizabethan costume . net / custompat / (without the spaces)

it tells you how to make a corset with your personal measurements

I made the shirt/ dress thing with some muslim i bought at the fabric store and made a very basic chemise. I used some ribbon to gather the neckline and hemp to tie up the side.
