Atheist logic would dictate that we are animals. Therefore anything we create is completely natural. That is not to say that it is beneficial. I'm just syaing that nothing is unnatural.
I do agree that GM projects shouldn't be launched full scale JUST yet, because theres still a bit of fine tuning involved. However, I would say that with a little more time and research, we've uncovered something epic here. It would certainly happen faster if those damn hippies who immediately think of Frankenstein when hearing GM would stop trying to ban the project entirely.
If normal crops are cheaper overall, any farmer who's not an idiot would stick with those. However, perhaps even with having to buy new seeds every year, and having to buy all the other stuff that comes with it, the GM crop would provide more successful yields, and that might be worth the extra cost. Unless it is, nobody will switch.
Thanks for the vid, Norton. As you probably already know, I'm still going to have to argue. Sure, those corps could be out in their self interest, but thats fine in my opinion. According to basic economics, GM foods aren't going to become the norm unless they're a cheaper, more productive alternative than non GM. Lets face it, who wants to pay more than they have to for anything?

If I ever own a biothech company. I would not allow lease on seed. I would have my company sell it on the side where our profits don't depend on it.
