@madjimms : No, but the lock mechanism and the trigger unit. The Thompson M1919 (fires .45 ACP) is the father of the H&K MP5 (9mmx19) system (blish lock). The feeding is very goof without jams. The Mp40 (fires 9mm Luger [ exact the same as 9x19mm and 9mm para]) : 10 mags, 10 jams :D And the barrel,magazine shaft and the magazin get really hot while shooting. Because this the Thompson has a wood forearm,grip and stock. Sorry for my bad english. I'm a "kraut" :P
