Where did you get your violin?

@Dynamus721 I got is from the place where I used to rent my viola (back when I was still renting). This older gentleman came in saying that he had an acoustic violin that was equipped with an electric pickup, and he had gigged extensively all over the country with this violin, but his arthritis had caused him to be unable to play anymore. So I bought it from him, because he knew that it would be put to good use (which it certainly is haha). It's a one-of-a-kind instrument, which I think is cool

i think its a lot better with the 2nd vid but its quieter compared to the previous one and as well i think the back ground drums kind of ruined it because there's few mistakes and as well didn't really worked well with the violin together.

despite that i think you've done great job by trying something new and trying to improve something you've done. :)

Also, I am a fan of Skillet (Seeing, they, and Apocalyptica somewhat, are the ones who led me to start playing); And I was wondering if you'd send me sheets for your part, I will admit, probably the best I've heard, I'm asking, as a project for me, and my band, so, another key note is, if you'd send just the parts which actually have the violin in the song, if not possible, that's fine

The distorted rythm violin sounds a little too quiet in this one in comparison to the previous version, though.

By the way, I think you should definitely add those harmonies.

And some questions: What violin do you use? What's you're recording setup?

@ManuelJBD thanks very much!! I'll probably do harmonies sometime soon, cuz i'm bored and lazy, and don't feel like learning a new song haha;; my violin is one-of-a-kind. The whole story is in a series of comments on my first Comatose video, and i'll just send you there instead of re-writing is, as it is very lengthy, and took up several comments haha...

@ManuelJBD as far as my setup, i have my violin plugged into my multi-effects pedal, and i have a series of effects combos that i use exclusively for violin (it's the same pedal i use for my guitar as well), and I have my pedal plugged into my amp, and I use the output jack on my amp and plug THAT into my computer's input, and I just record it with GarageBand, and record the movie, then in iMovie (cuz I'm a poor teenager) I just synchronize the audio and video, and voila! Hope that helps!!
