um not really. Peach still is a good character, just not as good as she was in melee. some really good peach players are NikoK, Mikey Lenetia, Peachkid, and D.Peach. I'd be one of them if i was more active on the internet and tournaments :). Most people just say that she sux because spamming downsmash and forward throw doesn't work anymore. when u come to realize what is good about her, u will utilize those things about her and win.

Always alternate ur attacks like i said. Pluck more turnips when ur further away from the enemy that way u get more flexibility in attacks. Peach is a good character with flexibility in attacks imo. Use throws back and forward as a throw off but they are not completely necessary. Try to throw and drop ur turnips strategically. Overall practice makes perfect. Listening to this advice will help u get better imo. Good luck! :D

Many combos can be used with peaches down and up throws but mostly at low percentages. I use Down throw then up throw as a chain to people with low percentages. u can also combine the down and up throws with aerial attacks, up a attack, smash attacks, forward a attacks, dash attacks etc. Btw try not to dash attack too much. on the platforms if the enemy is on a platform and u are right underneath em, u can use her up a attack to unleash a heart to alternate ur attacks. Try not to be predictable!

also i forgot to say, use the umbrella mostly when u need vertical recovery. U can use it as horizontal recovery as well by opening and closing ur umbrella to prevent getting damage or to damage the enemy if they try to get close to u. The bomber attack is longer in range now. U dont have to use it too much but if someone is edge guarding u and u bomber them, they will practically get spiked to the bottom. That is what i do to my friend and he gets ticked off by it lol :D hope i've been of help.

some advice for the peach player. When you float attack directly to the enemy, remember to float above their heads and use a combo of Dair and Uair or Dair and Nair. U can use this technique to avoid projectiles as well. Try not to spam ur Dsmash too much because it's not too effective anymore. After u use one of the combos i mentioned earlier, u can follow it up with a Forward smash, down a, or forward a attack. When u need horizontal recovery use the bomber attack, it can serve as a recovery.

No, her downsmash is nothing like melee's but it is still useful.

and yes, she still pulls out stitch faces and the same items she did in melee. I killed the sheik player with a stitch face.

I always use Peach...but I rarely ever use those two moves because they just suck. Is there hope for Peach in Brawl?

peach was already in the high tier for melee... so nintendo felt like they needed to nerf a few things like her forward throw.

lol she was in the upper tier so thats even higher but she could still be really high. Her movement and attacks are faster and nothing really exept for dsmash which is still good and fthrow have been nerfed. pretty much all of her moves are now useful

Her forward be is more useful, yet you shouldn't use it too oftenly, unless it's an enemy that it works great on :)
