  • Check The spectrum of our strings buy EB. You all guys can see how much treble is it :)

  • Vunterslaush.

  • no ones remembering his shit is mega loud live

  • really .. ever ? so much competition.. like ive tried elixirs and and im amazed if some strings can be better :D

  • The AFD Les Paul Original!!!! Still alive! Wow

  • i want those strings !!!!

  • i wanna know how to play 0.11-0.14 i always hear him do somthin like that. it sounds awsome

  • Slash needs to ask Joe Bonamassa or Billy Gibbons how to get a decent fat Les Paul tone. This sounds way too brittle.

  • @g00seman25n Hehe,., watch Billy Gibbons' Rig Rundown vid on here. He doesn't use mids or treble... just bass dialed in, so I guess that's one way to accomplish it!

Then again, he's the only guitarist in his band, so he doesn't have that need to cut through a bit more.

  • oh man that was a sweet soundin basass lil thing he was playing

  • what straplock are those? doesnt look like dunlops

  • @97956864 Schaller straplocks

  • What inbred was in charge of recording.

Also, IT SOUNDS LIKE SLASH IS WHISPERING.

  • A bit more BALLSY?? we certainly can't hear any of that in the demo...

  • And I will still be using my skinny top heavy bottom slinkys...

  • Malmsteen has nicer tone than that.

  • Slash Basiclly said That he has Sex with his strings"

  • "And I'm not reading this..."

  • if u think that with those strings you're gonna sound like him... you're soooo wrong

  • @Dakotatuner17 what kind of an idiot would think that?

  • @Dakotatuner17 well that's a big relief because his tone sucks balls in that video (pun intended)

  • Slash maestro de maestros!

  • So much treble :|

  • @SirZozzo Second that, too bright...

  • @SirZozzo Sounds like they gave him 10s to use, he usually uses 11s which to me sound better than that

  • @SirZozzo TOO much treblee JA!

  • @SirZozzo hes playing through his live rig, its usually way louder so what your hearing isnt what he had in mind when he dialed in the tone.

  • @SirZozzo

Just a matter of different picks, amp setups, hitting style and setting up a guitar properly. Go ahead and try them before you judge.

  • Damn, these'll be expensive, I bet...

  • @Aaronmiles2 Probably not Ernie Ball strings are fairly cheap compared to most, I dont know what they cost but I will say in the $8 a pack range, there is no mention of them being coated so putting them in the price range of something like an Elixir string people would probably go for the coated, although IMHO coated strings suck big time once that coating starts to wear off. Be hard pressed to get me to stop using my regular slinkys!

  • @Aaronmiles2 Nahh, I checked Musician's Friend, and the Cobalt series strings are only five bucks more than the standard series (ex. Regular Slinky goes from $5 to $10), ten more if you're looking at bass (ex. Hybrid Slinky Bass goes from $20 to $30).
