Though I never would have thought of Michael Jackson listening to this song, I have to say that actually Sarah prefers people to think of what the song matters to THEM rather than what it means to her. She specifically has said this numerous times. I agree with sykes. This song is predominantly about the loss of romantic love. To talk about missing MJ is to twist the meaning behind the sentiment of the lyrics. Why do you think she introduces the song the way she does? She doesn't say all that stuff at the beginning for nothing - she'd like people to think about what she was feeling at the time - a romantic partner, not a pop idol.
