The core plot, along with the core characters of Star Wars is straight out of Campbell's 'The Hero with a Thousand Faces'. This 'groundbreaking' plot has been used in mythology, literature, and yes, films. Star Wars has a very unoriginal plot. It's a good film because it simply uses this to it's advantage.

I'd hardly call 'The Force' anything groundbreaking either. It's pretty much a combination of Dharma and Lucas' taking from Lipsetts 21-87.

That actor is amazing. They both are. But he is so skilled at just being completely alone. The ending really needed something, I guess the film is trying to say that somehow she saved him, and I like that. But how did she?

Okay. I can see that. I love watching this one again and again. Another way he's saved is by finally getting his ass dressed and off to an interview, instead hanging around in the kitchen. Guess if I had a sniper out my kitchen window every morning, I'd be more motivated, too, heh.

repetition in space time just means a lot we don't need to see, and this is film isn't it?, I thought that was expensive, it should been the first scene and then a caption would say "times three!". also, it could be an anti-smoking advertisement. I'm just kidding, this is great, keep thinking of abstract cinematography and psychological story lines, the film industry needs it.
