thje worst play i've seen playing high school ball is a hit down outside 3rd base foul line, 3-5 feet left of 3rd base and the ump called fair play. With a person on 3rd and 1st base.

Okay, I've watched it. And the catcher PROBABLY dropped the ball. Since the camerawork was worse than the call, I can't tell for sure. He may have made a good tag and dropped it while trying to take it out of his mitt, in which case it was the right call. If the catcher did drop the ball, then it might POSSIBLY be in the top 100 bad calls I've seen...but calling it the "worst EVER" is an even bigger mistake than the ump made. And the ump ejected the manager at exactly the right time.
How come the "worst call ever" is always in a game that only the poster cares about, and isn't nearly as bad a call as lots of others we've all seen over the years ('85 WS for example).
@LordValor001 if you watch immediatley after the play at home the catcher jogs toward the ball that he dropped, picks it up and tags the runner. Ball was dropped during a tag, runner is safe. Umpires never admit mistakes.

Every umpire, coach, player, and good fans should know that you can appeal calls, so there is no point in bitchin on youtube thinking you know crap.
Unfortunately you are wrong. The tag was placed before the runner made it to home. Then as the runner finishes his slide he has a slight collision with the catcher and then drops the ball. however it is the umpires call on whether or not at the time of the tag if the catcher had full possession. All I have to say is, Good Call Blue!

Bad calls are part of baseball!!! Everyone who has ever umpired has blown a call or two!!! People who do all the complaining are the last ones to suit up and get behind the plate themselves!!!

Okay, I've watched it. And the catcher PROBABLY dropped the ball. Since the camerawork was worse than the call, I can't tell for sure. He may have made a good tag and dropped it while trying to take it out of his mitt, in which case it was the right call. If the catcher did drop the ball, then it might POSSIBLY be in the top 100 bad calls I've seen...but calling it the "worst EVER" is an even bigger mistake than the ump made. And the ump ejected the manager at exactly the right time.

@LordValor001 if you watch immediatley after the play at home the catcher jogs toward the ball that he dropped, picks it up and tags the runner. Ball was dropped during a tag, runner is safe. Umpires never admit mistakes.

@WanderleiSilva29 if the coach asks for an appeal and the appeal is granted and the other umpire says the call was wrong from what he saw, the ump can change his call. Every umpire, coach, player, and good fans should know that you can appeal calls, so there is no point in bitchin on youtube thinking you know crap.

Unfortunately you are wrong. The tag was placed before the runner made it to home. Then as the runner finishes his slide he has a slight collision with the catcher and then drops the ball. however it is the umpires call on whether or not at the time of the tag if the catcher had full possession. All I have to say is, Good Call Blue!
