This was brilliantly done. I love the concept, the song, and the direction you tried to go with this video. I know you said it's "not your best work" but it's far and above a lot that I have watched. I think you did a masterful job. The only thing I would have changed was a bit of the quick scene-to-scene jumping, and made it smoother to match the mood of the music just a bit more... Nice job. Keep them coming.

I think it is a great companion video and yes there are sad bits but I think the message you tried to convey came through very strong -- their lives are better because he was a part of their experiences. I do not watch Doc Who or know anything about the characters. I am watching this PURELY on the production end - how you edited it, flow, content etc... You say it's not your best work but I am very impressed with the use of space, pacing and very subtle effects. I would love to know what you use for editing and how you did some of the effects. It was definitely NOT "boring". I don't care about the show and I watched it.! As one fellow editor to another, great job!

I was just reading your description and it said that Donna stopped being so selfish. I don't believe that Donna was ever selfish. Donna's "flaw" or "problem" was that she was insecure, and if there was any change in her it was that the Doctor helped her see how brilliant and special she truly was.

Oh, LOVELY. I love the parallel scenes and how well they all just flow into one another. The overall exploration of the companion's emotions was wonderful. The ending felt a bit...sudden? Unfinished? I'm not sure, but I got that feeling. Though I do love Rose's voiceover at the very end.
