Smart, smart, smart,, Im storing seeds now as well, some in fridge, some in a cool , dry place. This stuff puts silver/gold to shame..lol, and we know it.
@jpetersn Pure silver is useful to make silver colloid to thwart the biological warfare that's brewing.Gold is good for making fast circuits, high speed processors to control the bots that secure one's dominion. So I guess everything has it's place, but definitely seeds are highly useful, gotta fuel your being somehow, right?Seeds are but one tool of surviving the decaying economy. The other hard fight is protecting oneself from the police state and the murderous criminals they will surely employ.
That is a great idea about sprouting seeds. Good idea and will sprout in the dark when the elec goes. I suggest calcium hypochorite (pool shock - not the sodium kind) to mix up some bleach (tbsp per gal) then take one tbsp of that into every gal of drinking/bathing water (let sit overnight). It is very thrifty ($6-10) and more healthy than hoping the rain puddle is microbe free. Boiling is best but not always practical. Those without will suffer diarrea/dehyration. Thank you and BlesSings.
Try Seychelle pumps for storing water. much healthier. Read up!

@sacredappleseed I'm pretty sure I'll never drink pool shock. I buy povidone iodine by the gallon.
