  • dancing on the right at 0:21 made me lol

  • Sound like Margret Fish from Bob & Margret :O

  • Comment removed

  • I was expecting a perverted funny comment, you youtubers have disappointed me.

  • @TheTechBite Agreed.

  • Nothing new here. Just simple animation.

  • @creepcheap She stated that it can be applied in real-time, so video-game characters won't have skirts and loose shirts clip through their body in a choppy way.

  • @creepcheap Durp.

  • 0:22 who also think that move is epic

  • @Morenob WORD LMFAO.

  • estimated body shape?

  • capoeira

  • Best application for this: video games / animations.

    Which would be awesome.

  • This totally is like "pimp my ride"

YO DOOOG we watched you with clothing so we could imagine you without to animate it afterwards!!

  • Cloth simulation has been around for many, many years though.

  • @niiidar

Yeah but it was a bitch to model it now you can do it in seconds.

  • This is cool, makes future computer graphics movies better again!

  • how is this gonna cure cancer!!!?

  • @amicusnemini Read your horoscope

  • now do hair

  • I dont see the point in this, there is already like a million different codes to mess with objects and textures, adding a simple flexibility script simulates it perfectly no?

  • @drakenbakken imagine how this animation will look in 10 year, maybe even five.. itll look like shit.

    thats the point of this.

  • that didnt look ultra-realistic to me unfortunately :(

  • @suupertramp Because there was no texture. But the movement was spot on.

  • I thought they accomplished it in Assassins Creed !?

  • nice, this will make shit look alot better

  • This sounds handy.

  • Wow... and I though capturing text from a picture was amazing..

  • great for video games. now actors wont have to wear lots of balls on their bodies that detect motion

  • It can "Detect the areas of a person covered by clothing".

    There's a technology that'll get abused...

  • @HellsPlumber

"It can 'Detect the areas of a person covered by clothing.'"

    Can you say X-ray goggles?

  • Pft, screw this. HAVOC PHYSICS FTFW D< None of this pre-rendered animations for clothing, screw that. HAVOC

  • @Ar7ific1al Typo correction: Havok. Phailed XD

  • every video from these guys theres always that one dude that has to bring up porn o.o

  • I want them to create a zombie virus that will turn everyone except 100 people in the world into zombies and the 100 people should have a base, headmaster, aircrafts, vehicles and loads of weapons and ammo. Enough to kill everyone in the world and then they go out hunting every zombie and they wear a crysis suit to make them invisible, fast and super strong and they could only get killed and not infected.... that's what I want. And I also want to be one of those 100 people. I'm so sick, ain't I?

  • and this is supposed to improve porn, how?

  • @aMpeDDUp How do all you immature eff-tards get thumbs up... This is the sorry truth about what our future has in store....

  • @aMpeDDUp simple, change cloths to skin... realistic granny porn

  • @aMpeDDUp the boobs are not going to bounce like crazy anymore in 3d porn :D

  • @aMpeDDUp +1

  • @BlueCrayolaMarker That's a rather cheap way to get a thumbs up attention break. But kudos for trying anyway.

By the way, if you reply to this comment, you are doing exactly what you're speaking out against; and I don't use pms. So do enjoy not replying to me, to keep yourself not a hypocrite.

  • @tw1stedgrudge So do you just troll all videos on this channel, attempting to make yourself look intelligent and feel important?

  • @Deviantial Oh, I *am* intelligent. It's just that I happen to be above what I like to call "Girl Mag" scientific discoveries and articles. I gave up on NewScientist when I was twelve. And speaking of feeling important; my presence here is obviously important enough to warrant hundreds of replies. Either that, or I'm just a very very very very very very very VERY modest and successful troll here.

Or maybe it's that old ground science dweebs can get as easily trolled and butthurt as anyone else.

  • @tw1stedgrudge Of course you're important, you're making "hundreds" of people reply to you! My god! You must be A GOD. In fact, I'm lucky to be in your presence. You got people on YOUTUBE to reply to you! Holy shit! I guess this means all the people who claim 'First' on videos and elicit reponses from people aggravated at their generic comment are also gods such as yourself?

Additionally, it's good to know you feel the need to reply to each and every comment as to prove yourself.

  • @Deviantial You're comment had me laughing so hard, the sarcasm was so thick I could barely open the link to read it, it had me in stitches dude. You get a thumbs up for cheering me up today, and god bless. Science does not want people to put their emotions behind it, so people can stop getting butthurt and let evidence talk for itself. All this talking down at me and trying to usurp and stifle my opinion has a very conservative and, hey, *dogmatic* feel to it, drawing comparisons with religion.

  • @Deviantial Actually it's more like this guy is so fucking fun to make of.

  • Pixar already has this stuff :P

  • @ALAPAT1 No they don't lol.. Pixar is just a company, with extremely talented animators is all :P

  • O very nice!!!

  • Reminds me of the MOHAA glowskins

  • The universe was created by- OH HEY LOOK....Awesome animation technology.

Seriously; people need to take their little debates somewhere else

  • @SadisticDarkling Some of us prefer asking bigger questions than how cartoon characters skirts should move across their anime asses.

  • yes and its only application will be for games and fashion ... so its useless in the grand scheme lol

  • @ORACLE063 No, This technology can advance us in many ways; Entertainment, Digital Distribution, Crime solving, and most likely Space/Rocket Science... This technology could save lives one day. You sir, should not state facts based on a quick opinion on the internet.

  • 0:21

    the girl on the right.

  • @manicmads LOL

  • @manicmads hahaha

  • That's amazing. GG

  • People of another profession being replace by machines.

  • That is amazing! SOo cool! :-)

    Bruce

  • pretty cool

  • 0:22 woman on the right. lol

  • 0:20 epic dance moves on the right! LMAO!

  • science is the work of the devil - repent or burn in hell!

  • I love how people just come here and rant about religion. Nomatter what the video is about.

  • @FutureInventions hahay yes...so true ! :D

  • Mastering animated hair is next.

  • later or sooner, Kinect should adopt this technology

  • The clothing thing is pretty cool but i like the way it can just take your clothes of from a clip of you moving.... :P

  • That is coool! Anyone who knows how long it usually takes from the things getting developed to hit the consumer market?

  • you know this won't actually appear in games for a while for the same reason that you don't see things like water and smoke physics often. it just takes up to many resources.

  • Comment removed

  • final output = not realtime rendering?

  • @MoopyHedgehog I was wondering the same thing, the narrator said it "can be applied to an animation in real time". Though that can mean any number of different things.

  • god i fucking love germans..

  • Comment removed

  • wow

  • why did god create satan? and why do we have to wait for him to kill satan why doesnt he just do it now..

  • @madnesscombat5 Because it's not real.

  • @madnesscombat5 sry he's playing League of Legends now

  • @madnesscombat5 uh...well...er....okay for one this comment should be on a video related to religion not on one related to the "godless" subject of "computer science." Secondly, i don't know....maybe god is either really lazy or is using the devil to test our character so we can earn the right to go to heaven i guess?

  • @madnesscombat5 Uhm, god doesn't exist... so does satan... retard.

  • @madnesscombat5

God didn't create Satan, man did, to scare the masses into submission/conformity. Neather of them really exist, except in the imagination of feable-minded people.

  • assasins creed's? relevant to my interests.

  • @Sirob972 I was just thinking of that! :D

  • well it's about freakin time!

  • 0:22

  • this doesnt help porn

  • looks like the sims to me....

  • Put this in the New Elder Scrolls and every other game!

  • Superb stuff. Should make game characters look so much better, and in real time too.

  • @ScottishAtheist

Ya, it could speed up the production a lot!

  • The new speedtree?

  • yeah, the right one 0:21 xD

  • @tw1stedgrudge Trollin' trollin' trollin'. Darwin didn't recant on his death bed. Can't link here, so Google it. That story is apocryphal. Regardless, your whole rant is completely out of the blue and pure flame bait. Take it somewhere else.

  • @tw1stedgrudge It's funny, even a pro-creationist site "answersingenesis" rejects this stupid lie.

  • @TheBilly It's amazing how easy it is to troll hardcore science bigots. With one side of the mouth you all claim how vehement and argumentative religious circles are, and then with the other, you big up yourselves when 'science' created so much bad in the world, and then PROFITS on said evil to fund yet more evil.

Also, he did actually recant on his deathbed. I suggest reading. Not everything you read online is true.

  • @TheBilly Oh, I've seen you before. You're that bitch that calls other users "kiddo" in an ad hominem attempt to undermine their opinions and bolster your own!

I've seen you around! Have a hearty handshake on me, ma'am, one troll to another.

  • @Itsvideotime Lol, no u! Everyone cares about my shit. Look how fucking many people are replying back to me and then tell me noone cares. Seriously? Seriously dude? : D

  • @tw1stedgrudge "he did actually recant on his deathbed. I suggest reading. Not everything you read online is true."

    *rofl*

  • @ReductioAdAbsurdum Rofl u believe everything online is true?

    You, ma'am, are retarded.

  • @tw1stedgrudge " u believe everything online is true?"

No, I was laughing because you mindlessly parroted something you read online, then insisted others shouldn't believe what they read online. It was such a wonderfully self contained example of poor thinking, I had to laugh.

Darwin didn't recant. Disagree? Cite a credible source.

Even if he *had* it would have *no* relevance to the truth of any proposition. Galileo recanted his heliocentric heresy, but the Earth kept orbiting the Sun.

  • @ReductioAdAbsurdum Comparing Galileo to Darwin. I had to laugh.

Darwin DID recant. Disagree? Cite a credible source.

Also, there is plenty of discourse in the -cough-THEORY-cough- of Darwins evolution.

    Right back at'cha.

  • > Darwin DID recant. Disagree? Cite a credible source.

Try Answers in Genesis, a Christian website. They're honest enough to report the facts, even if you're not.

    > there is plenty of discourse in the -cough-THEORY-cough- of Darwins evolution

Just as there is about atomic -cough-THEORY-cough-, and gravitational -cough-THEORY-cough-, and germ -cough-THEORY-cough-, because in science "theory" means "totally fucking random guess", amirite?

You're a poster boy for theist stupidity. Represent!

  • @ReductioAdAbsurdum Everything is ones/zeros,and both science and religion are mans attempt to grasp that which does not exist. Neither faith nor science alone will dictate how the universe is or was or will be, and even together they stand a hopeless chance.Theory seems to be a safety word scientists use incase they are wrong, so they can remain credible to some extent. If below the Holy Bible it was written, "The Christian Theory", then we'd be alright here. Because in the end, its all theory.

  • @tw1stedgrudge A theory is a hypothesis that has stood the test of time, only discarded when proven wrong. Science and math have proved how the universe functions... many articles on it. The universe expanded from one point traveling at the speed of light in all directions. Their needs to be underlying evidence to justify a theory while the bible has no creditable evidence within it. A book of fluff written to help man understand why things go the way they go. Much, proven wrong with study.

  • @laxwolf Actually, there are perfectly plausible theories of bubble universes, and recycling universes that completely debate the idea of the big bang. All of these ideas are fallacy because they cannot actually be proved totally, much like the theory grasped by Creationists. To say that everything came from nothing is to me, one of the biggest discredits to science that there is.

  • @tw1stedgrudge Math has been used to created a theory of the universe. Their is no proof of multiple universes -_- Nothing our conciousness could understand is beyond our own universe. Think of everything based on science... time, space, planets, plants, animals, ect... Everything came from everything. The density of space the size of one proton is a crazy idea until you understand it. It didn't come from nothing, it came from everything.

  • @laxwolf There is no proof for the big bang, either. -_- There is a large empty space where people say a "big bang" could have originated, but if the universe is vast and infinite, I can point in any direction and somewhere out there, there is an equal, or even larger, big empty area in space to dispute the claim. Planets, space, plants and animals come from nature. What is. Science and religion are how these things are interpreted, and time is a human concept which doesn't actually exist.

  • @tw1stedgrudge THE UNIVERSE IS NOT INFINITE. Just to remind you. Sure, we can not comprehend the speed of light, but the universe is expanding outwards at that speed. If we could in fact make it to the edge of the universe (physically impossible) and beyond... sorry, it's impossible to explain a place, that's not a place that we can not understand... makes my head hurt. Science can prove things! You don't get that. Religion makes you believe. Peanut Butter and rocks man...

  • @laxwolf The universe may or may not be infinite. That's not for me nor you to decide. But I personally believe it is in the concept that in some way or other, it has either always been, or is in some way constantly growing, and always will.

  • @tw1stedgrudge It will be, a force without resistance will last forever. It is for you and me to atleast think about it because it will only become a bigger idea in the future. The universe is finite, you would be crazy to think otherwise.

  • @laxwolf I'd like to know in what possible way you percieve the universe to be finite, and yet you can believe in a concept like time.

You do realise, that mathematically speaking, if you have time, then you have to have dimensions. If you have dimensions, then you have to square them. And then square those. And then square those. And then square those.

  • @tw1stedgrudge Yes, and we can only perceive these ideas through our conciousness, which we can not. Nothing beyond the our universe exists because it is nothing to us (In a different way.) We are able to understand the world we live in through science, and observation. Religion can not prove any of the ideas you tried to justify.

  • @laxwolf I'm not saying it's a way to prove an idea. But one may have *faith* in an idea. One may *believe* something, even though it hasn't been proven, and that does not make it a bad thing. Many scientists have been laughed at in the past, only to have the last laugh in the end by invention something that the scientific Legion uniformly scoff at.

  • @tw1stedgrudge It's always good to have belief and faith. But it should never be used to understand something and define it as the answer... It's not real, its a thought. At least to our perception. Science will only prove more things wrong and temporarily prove things right.

  • @tw1stedgrudge "Everything came from nothing" is what fucking creationists talk about. Of course no one will believe that shit. It's the stupidest excuse for opposing the big bang theory because it proves that you don't know what the theory actually is. The theory isn't fucking about everything coming from nothing. The theory is about creating planets, stars, etc from an already existing mass. It's about things being rearranged by physics.

  • @YuneShik Did you know that no matter how dense something is, a spark is never created within said density? Given that *something* had to set off the big bang (a theory I don't happen to subscribe to anyhow.); science has yet to come up for an answer for this strange phenomena. Perhaps God lit a match after finding some perfectly normal and scientific phenomena and thought it'd be funny to see what happened.

  • @tw1stedgrudge And yet you here proved against yourself about the "everything coming from nothing" comment you've made. Well done!

  • @laxwolf Well put, but that doesn't stop people from believing in it. I know it wont stop me.

  • @Hopienme Of course, I'm not trying to persuade anyone. The base of the argument was how science and study is no different than the bible in provability. I believe somewhat in Christianity but I would never use it as a way to start/support an argument or fact :)

  • @laxwolf your a nut if you think that

  • @Hefotos Explain to me how? I want you to discuss your reasoning for such an accusation.

  • @laxwolf

You say science is on par with the bible in terms of proving things??? How could I possibly need to explain myself? If you actually believe that then your fucking retarded.

  • @Hefotos What? That's what the other guy was saying. Freaking troll, Don't you call me a retard. You really need to read what I said before you say anything you arrogant asshole.

  • @laxwolf Your a turd sandwitch

  • @laxwolf

No, Mr. Stupid, Science can never be proven correct for you never know what truly is correct for the "proof" that is thought to be correct a ten thousand years ago (Earth being Flat) is now known to be false and so the future will correct us and our current truth is too dependent on time and our subjectivity to be considered such a bald statement. Make sure you understand what you say before trying to criticize and confront others with your incomplete understanding. Open your mind!

  • @ashthegreat "Science can never be proven correct".

Aircraft fly, computers run most of modern life, man landed on the moon, life expectancy has gone from 25 to over 70!

All this from a science that can't be proven correct?

The proof of science is obvious for the world to see.

  • @Andylocksigma I'm not religious and I have great respect for Science and everything it's done for us but honestly there are infinite theorys that could both account for and disprove many (or all) of our scientific views. Of course they can't be proven either, but what I'm trying to say is that we should all embrace Science because it's tangible and can help us in so many ways, but never let that close of our minds to the endless possibilities that could be.

  • @ashthegreat

Do you think we still don't know the shape of Earth, and we never shall?

  • > science and religion are mans attempt to grasp that which does not exist

    *rofl* Absolutely nonsensical statement.

    > Theory seems to be a safety word scientists use incase they are wrong

They don't call it atomic theory because they're not sure if atoms exist. Theories are explanatory frameworks for facts, they are *confirmed* hypotheses, the highest order of verified truth in science, deep understanding of how something works. It *does* not imply uncertainty.

  • @ReductioAdAbsurdum people like this have delusions dude, perhaps its not cool to make fun? XD he obviously has delusions of grandeur and also some form of prophet complex

  • @blazednlovinit The end is nigh! The end is nigh!

Soon, scientists will don their white pointy hats to go with their white labcoats (face it, we all know they have them) and will begin burning crosses on non-secular families lawns!

The end is nigh, the end is nigh!

  • @tw1stedgrudge fairy tales are cute when they don't kill, persecute and subjugate people IN THE REAL WORLD like nearly every religion on this planet has and does. And no, Darwin did not recant on his deathbed. He was firmly in touch with reality up to and including his last breath. IN the religious world, demons cause mental illness and disease is god's way of punishment - yeah, that's the very mature view. If you like it, try any islamic country, you'll fit right in - they all "believe" too.

  • @NonProphetGod Darwin recanted on his deathbed. Stop being butthurt and just recognize that for what it is.

I have no idea what your view of religion is if you think everyone thinks in some form of witch-doctor sense. Either you're incredibly retarded, ma'am, or you're trolling.

  • @tw1stedgrudge recanted? you're obviously trolling or don't know waht you're talking about. :P

  • @NwZ2 Her derp, dun know wut ur talking about Im write ur wrong on Youtube and thats teh most importint thing rite now derp!

  • @tw1stedgrudge "Darwin recanted on his deathbed. Stop being butthurt and just recognize that for what it is."

Whether he did or not, recanting in deathbeds don't mean shit. It just proves that one of the biggest reasons for believing in religion is fear.

  • @YuneShik You seem to be implying that Darwin was shit scared of dying while on his deathbed. For someone who supports science, that's pretty unsound. Perhaps he just wanted some guidance, or even a nice talk or someone to give him some peace of mind. My personal view of Darwin was that he doesnt afraid of anything, not even death.

And during all that, he happened to let slip that he made up the whole evolution thing as a means of trolling religious figures for eons to come.

  • @tw1stedgrudge LOL.You don't know much about the deathbeds, do you? There are even many atheists who were proud with their beliefs, who in the end turned to God right in their deathbed simply because of the fear of losing everything they stood for. There is no person who isn't scared of dying except for those who truly believes in the after-life.

You're saying Darwin discovered a phenomena but at the same time made it up? Amazing, I think the radiation of your brilliance can cure cancer itself.

  • @YuneShik NO U!

  • @YuneShik - (p1) WRONG!! Ha ha. I was on my deathbed a year ago because of undetected intestinal hemorrhaging due to mixing ibu. / acet. on a daily basis for months. There I was, in a hospital with a systolic BP of 240+ that wouldn't go down regardless of meds. In 2nd week, I could see that docs, nurses and relatives thought I was a goner. For me, no fear. While they were beginning to drown in sorry, I was busy happily reflecting, calling friends, having good laughs and expressing appreciation.

  • @YuneShik (p2) Everytime someone sorrowfully would ask, "would you like us to pray for you?", I laughed and said, "best to pray for yourself". Of course, they were taken aback knowing (for themselves) that my atheist soul was damned for all eternity. :D You see, my friend, when you observe reality OBJECTIVELY without putting all of that BELIEF garbage on top of it, life reveals itself as simply a beautiful, lucky opportunity with NO promises. Stop being a fearful baby. Let go. Live and enjoy it!

  • @BigMTBrain Awesome. Couldn't have put it any better.

  • @YuneShik - (p3) - Christian family members and friends were astonished that I had no worries about dying or, what was so real and fearful in their minds, what was to come after. You see, for a true atheist, we don't discount the possibility of an afterlife; we just don't bank on it, hope for it, or live or die by it. We can only expect what we see of other creatures... to be gone It is fear and ego that makes you INVENT the promise of more. CONTROL is the reason the promise was invented.

  • @YuneShik - (p3.5) Oops! I meant... Religions were invented as a method of CONTROL, forever dangling the carrot of receipt of the promise IF and ONLY IF you behave according to the prescribed rules. Reject that crap, free your mind, and watch as your fear disappears, allowing you to FINALLY view life for the amazing chance it is.

  • @tw1stedgrudge

HA HA HA. Funny joke M8.

Because you truly cannot be serious.

I'll give you a hint, if you wanna troll successfully, leave out shit that's common knowledge. Everyone (well all educated folk anyway) are aware that the supposed Darwin deathbed confession is made up by religious retards.

    Worst troll attempt in ages.

  • @martiangrundy Really? 'Cos from where I'm standing, I got about seven replies, including your own butthurt, shitty little reply. I call that a pretty successful troll for what is basically a single comment, and you, nor your mother whom I fucked in the ass, could troll any better.

    Good day to you, ma'am.

  • @tw1stedgrudge

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Of course you did. You got lot's of lovely responses, all agreeing with you, and telling you how smart and intelligent you are. I've just had a good laugh reading through them.

Way to prove my point. AND "rub salt into your own wound".

Why don't you have another bash, go insult my mother again, or I have a daughter too, why not have a go at her. Show us all again how much you believe what you say, and how moral you are. And how much sense you talk.

  • @martiangrundy I hear a lot of ad hominem, but I don't hear much else.

I don't think you particularly grasp the concept of what trolling actually means. And I'm not about to explain it to you, so that you can continue to fall into the trap of it. Feel free to look it up on Google and come back to me looking like an expert. In the meantime, my comments here have been an immense trolling victory. Science nuts are just/more as argumentative as religious fundamentalists, and it's funny as fuck.

  • @tw1stedgrudge

No sorry M8. I already understand the term trolling perfectly.

I just sometimes like to troll the trolls. Depends on my mood and how busy I am.

I somehow suspect you weren't 100% trolling, and actually believe some of the idiocy you were spouting.

Though as you say, failing should be EPIC. And you certainly epitomise that sentiment.

  • @martiangrundy I live up to my statements, which is more than most people do!

  • @tw1stedgrudge

YEH. I've godda give ya that. I can't argue with anything in that statement. :-)

Unless I was trolling for the LUL's

  • @martiangrundy Gave you a thumbs up just incase you were.

  • @tw1stedgrudge So, unless our scientific advances are huge, planet-spanning, world-changing events, they're useless? Please, were it not for science, you would not be able to leave your ignorance-filled comment for the world to see. Science is not bigoted against religion, and its people like you who give us Christians a bad name.

  • @Repicheep22 Science is useless unless its advances are definitive and actually have answers. Any scientific debate into divinity will likewise come out with the same answer (if indeed one is not bigoted.); that answer is, "they simply don't know."

Cancer is not huge. It's just one illness which has not yet been cured, due to laziness, because scientists are too busy creating animated clothing, robot fishes and suchlike.

  • @tw1stedgrudge Hi. I want to correct your faulty understandings of cancer, so that you might avoid looking like an idiot in the future.

Mutations can happen in any cell, and happens every cell division. Sometimes these mutations have an effect on the cell. If the effect is such that the cell in any way can prolong its life and/spread then it is cancer. There are thousends of mutations that can couse this, and often a combination of mutations is needed, thus there are millions of ways to cancer.

  • @N3CR1S - And only one cure is needed. A cure science is yet to find. Because it is inept. Yet people worship it like a deity, instilling their peity by harassing people with faith as if the two are somehow seperate camps ready to kill eachother.

Youtube is one of the most intolerant, bigoted and horrible communities online. Do you know why? Because the majority are fundamentalist, totalitarian atheists whom are even more militant than their religious, hate-filled bretheren. Just sayin'.

  • @tw1stedgrudge "And only one cure is needed". Im sorry, was i not clear enough? or did you simply not understand? Please explain how you came to that conclusion from the information i suplied you with.
