Outside of yoko can be dismissed as long as she has smtn that looks like a face&else, but what she did...sad sad sad. She may giggle like she knows nothing, but behavior is ugliness itself. Peace is only in her words, but not in actions.

@Ohgeeitvienna It was like a mother/son marriage. She comfortably raised a 4yo. How about those women left with more than one child and end up in shelters or public housing? I'm a 59yo Asian Christian who still holds my self very well even in spite of a turbulent life in Australia, yet I find Yoko with no charm 'coz she is so cold, therefore she is not a beauty. Only a miracle could change her persona.

I rate John so much for sticking up for the girl he loves on National television. You can see the glow in Yoko's face when John says "She's not ugly" .. I think if Yoko has personally done something to you that's DIRECTLY affected you then you have a right to judge her and hold an opinion about her. If not then for the love of god realise that she is a person, a human and she does have feelings.. Think about how it must have made her feel reading that in a public newspaper. No fucking empathy.

He had a rather unfair view of the British press, the US media are as bad if not worse respectable than the U.K. press nowadays what with TMZ, psychopathic Fox news anchors, E! Entertainment, an unhealthy obsession with pointless celebrities and a sickening pushy advertising business. Britain is a more toned down U.S. nowadays. @Tripo1iSamson U're bringing a whole mix of issues into 1 debate. Hes talking about the media at large attacking his wife and his decision to marry her on dubious grounds. Other than that, no one's forcing anyone to take political advice from anyone. They're in a position to speak their mind and be heard, and they use it to spread their views on peace and love. The whole point is that you don't have to listen to them, but attacking them and getting personal is another extreme all together.

Even today,the ones that are using their position to spread awareness of the various issues in the world & show their support.Back in the 70s, John was basically voicing the cries of the millions, the public, against the war.He was in a position to try & make people listen,and frankly I respect him for that. @zainuq What one sees often on Youtube is very young people who, for one or more reasons have a chip on their shoulder about stuff or resentments against family, bullies etc which theyre unable to deal with face to face so they vent out their grievances against others like Lennon, through displacement and sublimation, far removed from who they need to stand up to. There is probably feelings of inadequacy & low self esteem as well about themselves cos theyre not praised & folk like Lennon WAS etc
