  • what launcher is that...? i want to download it

  • hy i made the back up and all can u please teme how i cn restore all my apps bk frm titanium after i upgraded my phone to a new ginger bread os n wiped cache n dd a factory reset plllzzzzz

  • @rayhaan90 Copy the TitaniumBackup folder over from old phone to new, and then restore App + Data

  • HEY! are you the same Hemorrdoidsnet that did the interview with Joël back in September of 2010? And I made a Titanium Backup Review video myself!

  • I can ask you a question, the Nexus S doesn't have a SD slot/storage, can I back up it on the internal memory??? I only get backup the .apk and not any from android market.

  • @Bouncer237 move to sd was only enabled for 2.2 regardless of root status

  • im as noob in this stuff as i dont have droids nor iOS's in my life yeat ahaha ... handled a few iphones backing up data for some noob m8s asking for help updating OS and so on (used to be a hardcore symbian enthusiastic geek back in de days myself)

The point is ... it seems there is no way to backup all android data in a puter aiming full restoring when rooting ficks the thing, right?

is it anyway to restore a fked up terminal with SDK manager or some soft released by Samsung (IE)?

  • @Bouncer237 Hmm, this might need a partitioned SD card? I'm not sure though...

  • awesome video!! imma try this now. u said it was 4 dollars rite? is there a free version?

  • @shinmasterx There is, give that a go first.

  • I just rooted my phone and love it. But, honestly, is this software necessary for backing up Apps? I just sync'd my apps with AppBrain before I rooted, then went back and reinstalled from AppBrain after I rooted. Am I missing something?

  • @doughorne370 Does appbrain backup your data for each app?

  • Yes, that's correct.

  • @Hemorrdroidsnet Sounds like a tiresome process I'd expect such a powerful os would have something more user-friendly and easy...Thanks for the quick feedback :)

  • @farestabs So... with this app, all you have to do is select batch restore... and that sounds a tiresome process? I'd like to know how it can be quicker and easier? This takes maybe 60 seconds.

Considering contacts and calendar events come back instantly, this nothing to put apps and data back on. Tbh, I think you're being un-realistsic in your expectations.

  • @Hemorrdroidsnet so re-rooting re-installing and selectiung batch operation? I had an Xperia and rooting wasn't so easy as super oneclick. I had an Android and love the OS but before you get ultra defensive think for a second...

  • @farestabs I'm not getting defensive, you're looking at the function of this app wrong. The function is not to backup you ROM. The function is not to root your device. There are other things for this.

When describing the operation of this phone, it's not fair to include that part, that's up to you.

If I factory reset right now. When it boots back up, I install this app and yes, all I have to do is one batch operation and it's all back in a matter of seconds. It cannot be any simpler.

  • @Hemorrdroidsnet you need root access and when I factory restored my phone the root was lost...

  • @farestabs That can happen, depending how you gain root. As I say, this is NOTHING to do with this app.

There are many apps that require you to have root. That doesn't make all these apps complicated. SetCPU is a VERY simple way to control your CPU speed. Because it needs root doesn't make it a complicated app...

  • @Hemorrdroidsnet no shit it has nothing to do with the app congratulations you know that you must have a PHD in software engineering.. You're missing the point and it's way too pointless arguing with you anyway.

  • @farestabs Ha ha. So why are you moaning about something that has nothing to do with this app? You're saying I'm stating the obvious, but apparently that is what I have to do for you as you're struggling a little here.

Please keep the comments on this app, to being about this app. Thanks and bye bye now.

  • Which recovery process? It stores backups on your SD, so when you flash, you just restore the apps including data.

  • @Hemorrdroidsnet so it stores all the back ups on the SD when i hit RUN under batch? so after i install a new rom and flash my fone all i have to do is restore it from my sd card?

  • So after you install a new ROM you have to re-root re-install this application and recover your saved data from this application? If I'm wrong what's the process?

  • @farestabs Yup, that sounds right to me.

  • nice app ,but how does the recovery process work ?

  • nice vid bud
