But from my previous experiences it is a great park. In the summer it's probably one of the best parks you can find in the Alps! You should check the L2A website, they usually have a map of the freestyle park up there.

@NOxLIFExGAMER Door de slechte omstandigheden waren de meeste pistes waaronder het park helaas de hele week gesloten.. Vorig seizoen was het weer in de Alpen erg matig, we hadden zelfs 2 dagen regen! Dit jaar valt er gelukkig weer volop sneeuw :)

@Schaaf Thanks. The nightlife in L2A is pretty good. It is always filled with party people and there are more than 40 bars and pubs to choose from :)

@MJfromEarth Hey can you give me some advice on snowboarding gear? I'm going there for the first time in December and I don't want to spend a fortune on jackets/pants etc, but I do want something that I'll feel comfortable snowboarding in. Do you recommend any brands?

@Octavian88mtl If you want to go super cheap, wear warm clothing and get some rain pants + winter jacket to keep yourself dry. Otherwise look out for second hand gear and check sites like eBay for deals. But at least get some good gloves because you don't want to get cold wet hands out there on the mountain..

@hybrionlu The weather looks nicer than it was! Because of the high wind speeds and cold temperature not many people were willing to venture to the highest spots on the mountain. At some point the wind was so strong it could blow your board off the mountain. It was like you were on some desolated ice planet..

She has had 2 weeks of professional lessons in Les arcs and still cant stand up for more than 30 seconds without bailing .. I'm not paying for more lessons for her..

@eladbari Yes, most POV was with the head-strap. We also experimented with the strap mounted on the chest.

@MJfromEarth Nice! So the headstrap fell from your head only once? :] It seems great, but not a 100% secure, since it could fall off. Also, i guess it takes training to know how to adjust the camera on the headstrap-so you won't see only sky..but you will have a good angle for POV.

Im trying now to understand which accessories are a Must-Buy for the GoPro. Seems like the "Handlebar Seatpost Mount" is needed for the monopod you are holding, for example..

@eladbari The headstrap only fell because I fell ;) It sits very secure on your head. For the monopod I used the tripod mount. Because the headstrap is elastic we were also able to use it as a chest mount. This was the first time filming with the GoPro so we indeed had to experiment to find the right angles.

About the headstrap- wow! it fits your chest also?how did u put it on?around the chest+the top-upper strap you put on one of the shoulders [left\right]?Doesnt it ruin the headstrap?making it wider than it should, when you put it back on your head?

I wonder what this chest view adds to the POV

@eladbari Unless you are really fat the headstrap can also function as chest strap. I suppose if you wear it for a long time like that it could stretch. An example of the view from the chest is the last shot. Have fun!

in some shots you would want to see the head movement-so the headstrap on ur head would be nicer..

wish i could also experience snowboarding in the Alpes there. frikkin' surreal!
