  • When HC was talking about FF12 I began to wonder how long it will take him to make a bonus episode if he's going to battle a certain "boss" if you know what I mean

  • @MegaLPfan01 or how long that episode will be! lol!

  • Legend of Mana is 5.99 on PSN at the moment

  • That boss is throwing rocks at you... yea guess why, you said "Genova".

  • Uh i'm curious.. How do you access spells in SDIII? I tried going thru all the menus but wasn't sure how to do it o_o; It was hard enough trying to figure out how to equip things. :z

    Thanks in advance.

  • 67 people have hc fever =D

  • @greenweegee64 Nah... nah... just ordinary fever.

  • @Eincrossfire JB Fever =D

  • 5:30 : Inverse ninja law. An army of ninjas is a bunch of easily defeated faceless mooks, but a single ninja is an unstoppable one-man army.

  • a game with a sword for a main character would actually be awesome. i'm reminded of the magic sword (was it kring or something?) in the first discworld book. it could be a really interesting story purely because the sword could last for 100's of years... then spend most of it's time discussing life at the bottom of a lake, or how it got it's dent XD

  • That was one BA furnace. Lol XD

  • lol A sword? really?,I don't even know how that would play out,Im pretty sure Radiant Historia would have a different story entirely than what it is,a sword going through Stockes storyline...lol no,I don't think that would be prudent

  • Furnace of Rath is the game ender

  • 5:15 Angela booty shot!

  • I must say, the Furnace of Rath in MTG is a little more impressive. But just a little.

  • On another note:

"Radiant Historia Developers" : Should we make our main character a sword, or a human? Hmmm, we need to think carefully about this.

Thus, in the alternate history, the savior of the world is a sword. In saving the world, he/it was lost in time and space and ended up in a completely different era, long before it's own journey.

There's your Historica origin story. :P

  • I never payed any attention to the 'don't use magic or lvl. 2/3 techs on some enemies' thing throughout all my playthroughs. The benefits of using Byzel to get tons of poto oils I guess.

  • I didn't know Shape Shifters appeared this early in the game.

  • Thats some pretty intense gas... mustve smelled so bad it makes them pass out.

  • Funny because I also retook Rolante during what I called Episode 15 (XV). The episode is called Occupy Rolante...

  • LOL. "And I'm JB" totally seemed to throw HC off his Let's Play groove for a moment. XD

  • I'm surprised that you didn't do Female Turbulence which is Rolante's theme in Mario Paint Composer. I was looking at your Mario Paint compositions again after watching this my first time.

  • HCBailly, have you ever played Fire Emblem? If not, there's three games in the series on the GameBoy Advance (plus quite a few more all across Nintendo's consoles). I recommend you try out Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (arguably the best "gateway" for the series). But of course, you don't have to.

  • its nice that JB has become comfy in front of the mic (yet behind the screen) as i have had some co-commentators that were awkward and such for my LP's. maybe it's just the awesomeness of HCBailly spooling over :)

  • @bdude1234567890 Maybe it's part of the Bailly curse?

  • 0:58 the people of altena have magic without the spirits so i think isabella can do a wind spell if she want

  • Speaking of people not in your party, I believe if you have Liese and not Hawk here, you get a scene where he shows up and kisses her. True story.

  • @6:44 Yeah, I bet Square-Enix was probably like "let's make this new FF game linear with more narrow hallways than a Castlevania game and as much exploration as a broom closet. No thief job class, no FF victory theme, and complicate the plot and battle system. The fans'll LOVE it! FF13 is gonna rock!"

    SquareEnix CEO: "ZzZzzzzzz..."

  • I say Genova is a hassle to beat because of his traps. Your cat interrupts you again while you beat this boss. xD

  • Yeah, there were sentient swords in D&D. They were the most common type of sentient weapon, with most of them being longswords, IIRC. Although there were other types of sentient weapons, I believe, none of which were projectile or throwing weapons. Could be wrong, though, but I'm for sure there are sentient swords.

  • Is Rath a reference to something?

  • @ff2paladin It's a reference to a fairly old Magic: The Gathering card.

  • So Stocke would've been like Phi from LoZ Skyward Sword? Now THATS a plot twist!!

  • What the game means when it says you cant carry anymore is that you cant carry anymore of that item in your present inventory. It doesn't automatically store it in your storage like items you get from chests

  • I like the furnace of Rath... cept i think it can bite you if not used correctly.

  • FF12 final battles (the last 6) were too easy, i jsut send Balthier, Vaan, and Basch on them with melee gambits with healing magic and just left the controller alone, ahh laziness

  • Lol, I was about to work on a project that was due tomorrow. Oh well, whatever. All nighters are awesome. \o/

  • You're gonna run out of relevant Magic the Gathering title references eventually :)

  • @Ocson Nah. Magic has over 10,000 individual card names and counting. There's a card for all occasions!

  • I don't know what this game is!

  • @0ion look it up then

  • @0ion he totally LP'd this before
