I've only been playing MC since beta 1.6 and I hate all the changes that have been made from that to gold release. I'm so glad i didnt start playing in alpha otherwise i would not enjoy MC now. It is so awesome in the older versions.

i have so many recipes first of all food: bread in furnace =toast toast + cooked pork = sandwich soup in furnce = cooked soup there should also be sharks who always fish and horse u can ride and u are able to make saddles (Note) if u have mo' creatures the mod there are horses and saddles are craftable

@MoeMH1212 Actually, I heard that was coming out in the 1.6 update, the map will reveal a small area of where you crafted it, then you can explore a bigger area to get more of the map, up to a certain point, like a normal map.
