right on, iLuminate shouldve won. But i do think silhouettes are still good and deserve the runner up spot, i mean their audition or first performance was just amazing
I also think its too cheesy. That they showed the Holy Mountains with their leaders heads carved in them made me feel sad. These mountains were once Holy Territory of the Natives and to carve these heads of their political leaders in them was a sad act...
@MrDemeter69 instead of dilapidating everyones thoughts with your halfbrained remarks, why dont you try a little thing called shutting the hell up. no one cares, if you're the only one hating on something that the majority of the viewers like.
Now we are all proud of our country, but am I the only one that thought they kind of cheated? No one is going to boo America let alone push a giant red buzzer as a polite way to say you suck.
none of the two (El Gamma and Silhouette) was the the original. It was done long time ago. But then I would go for El Gamma. They are more graceful and creative.
I watched america' got talent this season but always ended up missing seeing silhouttes ( i have a 3 month old and 2 year old need I say more) and what can I say except watching them now for the 1st time it I was moved to tears of the beauty I was beholding. God bless America and this brilliant dance group!
:( Too bad they blew it last night! :( ... Oh well, did we really want to see these kids growing up in Las Vegas? What about their real family? Their friends, their parents, and going to school with other normal kids?.. Oh well, probably for the best.
Absolutely AMAZING!! I am a proud American already. There is something about this performance that brings a tear to my eye. You are inspiring and a delight to watch!
I dont know about you, but the thing that makes me want to cry is the twin towers coming up at the end. These kids deserve to win as much as much as the the US deserves to have those towers still standing.
@sweetbiella Most people don't realize they are competing for a 40-year annuity. So take $1 million, divided by 42 people, paid out over 40 years, and before taxes, that is an amazing $595.00 per person per year. That is the grand prize on AGT. Even if this was a solo act, the grand prize would be equivalent to a $12.00 per hour job for 40 years. This grand prize on AGT is essentially nothing.
@penisinzipper wow! I had no idea....why does it have to be 40 year annuity? the company has a lot of money I was expecting them to just sign a $1m check and hand it to them like it was nothing...since they make millions of dollars for people to just watch this show. Goodness!
Incredible! This performance brought tears to my eyes and pride in being an american. I grew up in New York and delivered mail 1 mile from the twin towers. We lost a dear friend in the trade center and have family and friends that survived the bombing of the towers. My father in law also served the marines in WW2 and was in Iwo Jima. I'm ashamed of someone criticizing this performance just because someone else did it. Who cares?! They were wonderful and I'm proud of them and was blessed!
The one when they show the twin towers, it hit me. I was watching it, and I was like, something missing..and then it shows the twin towers and I'm like, OHH thats it!!!
I'm a Vietnam Veteran, and this Video makes me cry every time I see it. I also served 20 years on active duty in the Navy. I love America so much and I always will.
@Madnessonman they're humans--from a 3 year old to 19 year olds, imitating famous landmarks...it's not going to be exact, but even so, I could recognize them all without the imposed pictures. And yes, we've had quite a bit of problems in our country, but every country has, not just us. And if you think that someone hasn't done something directly, they've certainly ignored what was going on in the rest of the world
This has to be the winner of Americas got talent this year! These are children from Denver ranging in age from 3 to 18, the amount of concentration and dedication they must have is awesome! Other acts were good but this group is flat out great! And as the member said at the beginning of the clip, they most certainly made me very proud to be an American!, even more than I already was! They are soooooo cool!!!!!!! <3
This show was completely fabulous, they have a strong connection between each others cuz i man downs the whole team gonna fall apart... This is magnificent...absolutely....what am saying is a big big WoW for Silhouettes
When I saw this on live TV I crossed out all the people I was voting for. Except for Daniel Joesph Baker. But when I saw the twin towers, I froze. I dropped my pen. But when I picked it up, I crossed out everyone. (Except Daniel.) I loved that act and was happy the next night when they made it through. God Bless America!
I figure the only competiion from these guys comes from iLuminate. It's already turned into a battle between two EXTREMELY Vegas-ready acts. Everyone else just... fades.
