Now what your thinking of is the song "Now your gone" Which is sang by the same person(basshunter)But, he changed the lyrics, And used the same tune. He also did this with DoTA(swedish) and its english re-write All i ever wanted. Same song, diffrent words, which also shares the same tune with Pretty Rave Girl(DJ S3RL) and Daddy DJ(Daddy DJ). For the people who don't know the difference won't be able to tell, but for something who listens to these different genres and CARE about them knows the difference...it's like calling Britney Spears a rapper and Eminem a dance singer...it's different..and that's why we care.

@MrFreemister exactly i stated, for normal people you won't be able to tell the difference, however if you've been following the genres you'll KNOW the difference. They're not similar, and it's important if you like one or both genres. If you listen to a genre and you cannot differentiate them, then you're not listening to the music properly enough. All techno songs have a distinct touch to them, as do trance, uplifting, electro, dance, electro, prog etc etc

Well, I think "techno" versus "trance" can sort of be compared to "classical" versus "boroque" ....... to people that don't know music histoy, it doesn't matter, we call it all classical now and that's close enough.

But to someone that loves that music and has spent a lot of time with it, they know there actually is a difference, it's all in where it came from, how it was put together, etc. etc.

So how about we just give each other a break?
