Haven't played Pokemon since Gold/Silver/Crystal so no I didn't get either and its tough to pick 1 Pokemon so ill just say Charizard. I bought Pokemon Red then Blue but he was my starting Pokemon. Out of the 1st 2 Pokemon games there are too many good ones though to pick a favorite.
