AVG cleans viruses. RegVac cleans the registry. These are two completely different things. AVG does not clean the registry and RegVac does not clean viruses.
There are free antivirus programs out there. Avast is one of them. It may help you. Once you know the name of the trojan, you can do a search on the internet and should find instructions or free software for removing it.
i have had a problem with raid access failure...and was wondering will a registry cleaner program (such as this one) would fix it... i anyone i could help i would really appreciate it
It is hard to say whether it will help or not. It all depends on what is causing the problem (I doubt that it will). You can always try RegVac using the free trial version. If RegVac will not fix it, no other registry cleaner will.
Some programs use cmd to run DOS programs that are a part of their programming. This is normal. I would assume that is what is happening unless you have a virus that is doing that. I doubt it has anything to do with the registry. The text in the cmd windows should help you figure out what is going on.
Great video and program. Haha, I enjoyed your voice it sounded like you had a gun to your head, no emotion haha. This was very useful and I'm just kidding please don't get offended
Go to the RegVac page on our website (superwin) and click on the Buy It Now link near the top of the page. Unfortunately this forum does not allow links and so superwin is all I can put. Our website address is at the end of the video.
Hey Ray I wanted to ask for your help on something. Everytime I log onto my computer a message pops up saying - could not load or run ' '' '' ' specified in the registry. Any idea on how to fix it?
It is possible that RegVac could fix that. It is hard to say without more details. We have a discussion board on our website where I and others answer computer questions. I would suggest you post your question there.
how come I use your program to regclean it does it perfectly, but after cleaning I cleaned it again, It keeps having things to clean. how is that so if the first time it had cleaned up all the errors
One reason is because the registry is very complex and interrelated. Removing one entry affects other entries. Other registry cleaners only do a surface cleaning and so they do not have this problem. RegVac goes deep into the registry to clean it. RegVac finds much of the interrelated bad entries, but it cannot anticipate all interrelations. When you first use RegVac, it may take a few scans to clean things up. After that, once daily should be adequate.
Another reason is that programmers make mistakes and so it happens that good programs put bad entries in the registry. RegVac with its deep cleaning finds these mistakes and removes them, but when you run the faulty program again, it reenters the bad entries. This does not cause a problem, but it can be irritating.
A third reason is (this mainly happens in Vista), Windows, in an effort to be more controlling, does not allow some bad entries to be removed. This also is not harmful, just irritating. If you notice that the same entries are constantly being removed and it bothers you, you can select them and click on the Ignore button and RegVac will ignore them in future scans.
Being a long-time uer of Revac... The video is very good, but a longer version (that explains more detail) would work better. I CAN definitely say that it really is the best overall Registry Tool I have ever tried... and that's quite a few. TO ALL PC USERS - save time, money, and aggrevation - just buy this product and registry problems won't hinder you again.
That all depends on what is causing the blue screen of death. If a dirty registry or one of the problems that RegVac finds is causing the blue screen of death, then RegVac will fix it. If not, it won't.
The trial version of RegVac is fully functional for 30 days. You can always download it and try it to see if it will correct that.
uh.. it doesn't stop the blue screen of death but when it crashes and i reboot it it says windows has recovered from a unexpected shutdown and it says
Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini010409-07.dmp C:\Users\My Name\AppData\Local\Temp\WER76378-0.sysdata.xml C:\Users\My Name\AppData\Local\Temp\WER95C9.tmp.version.txt
should i delete the file and would it help stop the blue screen?
I had a serious problem with my computer my hardware stopped working also my virus programme I am not very computer literate and was about to reinstall XP and as a last resort I went into expert zone and it deleted 112 bad registries, my computer was back to normal and at that point I backed up my registery for future use, brill.
I do not understand what you are asking. RegCure and Registry Mechanic are inferior registry cleaners. I do not know why you are getting the HCONTROL error or whether RegVac can fix that. I would suggest that you do a search for HCONTROL on the internet or go to the forum board on our website and ask about it there.
do i have to download anything else dispite that, coz i got reg cure and registry mechanic but just after i scan and repair they still find some other errors in the next scan just after the 1st one
The registered version asks for the key when you install it. So if you have the trial version, follow the instructions that we sent to you and get the registered version. When you install the registered version, it will ask for the key. The registered version will be installed over the trial version and will replace it.
This is the best and safest Registry Cleaner to use, used now for over 2 years, never had a problem, even doing a full scan every time my pc starts, great software very safe, many thanks
I see that you are programming in Delphi or C++ Builder. Im also using it for my projects.
My suggestion to you is that change the ugly Borland hand cursor yo Windows default hand cursor. You can find many tuts on net about changing it and including it in your EXE.
I have been using RegVac for several years with no complaints. It does what it says and my computer runs smoothly.
I agree that a more detailed video, perhaps as a link on a future version of RegVac itself, that explains the "Expert" section of RegVac would be valuable to its users. Also, this present video could maybe do a better job of explaining *why* one would want to clean their registry at all. A lot of folks out there never heard of the registry.
The video speaks for itself (pun intended), but what also speaks for it self is any one of Ray's programs: They are excellent, and -unlike most of the others - actually do superbly well 'what it says on the tin !'
I have used Winrescue, Regvac & A1Cleaner for years and am still thrilled at the thoroughness with which they do their jobs.
I found it a little fuzzy but that may have been my dirty glasses. I think any new user would be wise to watch. I have used regvac for several years but your whys of the various features made this video well worth watching. Keep up the good work
I've also used RegVac for years, along with other software from Ray. I don't know him, have no financial interest in this, just like to help promote great software at reasonable prices (and policies, like free lifetime updates). Good stuff, and you can try it free for 30 days anyway. I've never had a crash as a result of RegVac (or any of his other programs).
