@hmoobvaj95 i disagree listen to a nice sized turbo with a nice tune....no lag like that and right back to high rpm....this guy sits at like 4k rpm for 5 seconds each gear....still a nice car
a 1khp really??? how come u didnt show the dyno charts? bc i mean anybody can say their car has a 1000hp with out showing the dyno chart. not that im sayin i dont believe u bc that set up looks pretty hardcore. especially that turbo lookin like its pushin 45 psi lol but dyno charts man dyno charts so ppl dont question u about the real HP
The Type R is running on 100% Methanol. With how it was performing and with how much fuel was running through it, it should be right around 1000hp at the wheels.
@addictsracing If your turbo selection was correct then you have another problem. That turbo is dropping off hard between shift. Nice 2 second delay before it comes back online. Sure, it pumps out good numbers but even at the track an 800hp properly sized/tuned car is going to rape this thing. 1000hp is nice but if your bogging down into the 300-400 range...1000hp means little.
@12kredline I've got a distinct feeling he was shifting two gears at once. 1-3-5 etc. And of course a car tuned for the track will beat this thing, you're a fucking idiot. This is a drag car, not a street or track car. Fuck man, cheese and crackers.
@BaldLocks I refer to Drags as a track. You can call me what you like but the video speaks for itself. The car falls completely out of boost. I was being nice when I said 2 seconds. It falls out of boost for 4-6 seconds. Its the wrong turbo or a bad tune...end of story. You can only swing so much mass. Its easy to point, click, buy the biggest turbo on a website. Its a lot hard to spend a day running the math in flow charts. Anyways...The car is badass...the performance in the video is not.
@BaldLocks I highly doubt he was shifting 2 gears at once because that would put alot of stress on the motor and push the oil out of the bearings. And this is NOT a drag car. Its a pos honda with a big turbo
@addictsracing With how it was performing? It sounded like shit, you get out of boost in every gear. And fuel consumption shouldnt be a precursor to how much power your making. "Ey bro, we was usin tons of gas, dat bitch gotta have lots and lots of horsespower right?" "ya man, i saw tons of smoke, gotta be like 1000" dumbasses
@bigbueno2 Dont turbo's use the exhaust flow from the engine to spin the turbine.. More air the turbo brings in, ( The air flow thing reads how much air takes in , tells how much fuel to put in to make the combustion even ) Right? And thats a big ass turbo so shouldent they put more gas to go faster & I think it does matter about fuel consumption... Try only letting in normal / regular amounts of gas and see if you get as much HP as to the amount they are using now, BUT!!! What do I know, im 16
@Blgmeno There is no air flow thing that tells how much air it takes in, there is an air flow ratio, which measures the ratio between of gas and fuel. So if you have a ratio that is letting in too much gas you wont make shit for power. And you cant control how much fuel and gas is let in. Everything is measured by the MAF and 02 sensor. You can increase pressure to an extent but you would need an adjustable FPR. And for being 16 you dont know shit
@Blgmeno So my point. Using more gas does not mean hes making alot of power. How efficiently you use the gas is the key to power. And just by the sounds of the car they have no idea what the fuck they are doing
BAAAAAAAHHHH oooowwwwst lag.

that turbo is not too big, just require a little high rpm for the boost.
btw, no result shown?

I disagree, the turbo is just right. ;)
