i would KILL for your fingers. they are so long. i have small hands. they are nimble from jumping from position to position, but for parts like at 2:11, they are useless. I learned this song and i still cannot get 2:11 down. it bugs me so much. the fingering i use is probably the most effective, but i still need longer fingers to make it smoother and less uneven

Just curious.. but how did you practice the left hand? I can'y play tenth chords... or whatever they are "when you stab say, C for example, then the upper C and E straight after).

I notice that marasy8 does this alot, but my left hand has always been a bit weak. Though any advice you have, it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, you played this very well! I've seen the original, two guitar covers, two piano covers, remixes, piano renditions from Circles ETC xD Great music.

@findlay27 Ah, the way I first practiced these jumps was by playing the bottom note, then jumping your hand into the position where the top two are - BUT do not play the top notes. Stop after you move your hand to where they think they should be, then check if they are in the correct spot. Adjust if needed, then play the notes. Repeat this, jumping up as fast as you can, but not playing the notes. This will help prevent you from hesitating, and learn the correct position :P

@findlay27 Part 2: The key is to not hesitate, which is why the method of practicing I described below is really useful. Once you feel comfortable and are consistently moving to the correct position, try playing the notes without stopping to adjust first. Don't worry if you miss, just don't hesitate and keep practicing! Make sure your arm, wrist, and fingers are all as relaxed as possible, tension is a very bad thing, and will make you tired. I hope this helps, good luck!

@philipawalker Thank you so much for being able to respond to my comment, I really appreciate it =) I've been messing around and I can only play at a slow tempo and when not thinking about where to play. It's weird, but take "Be of Good Cheer" for example. When it reaches the eighth bar, my head just blanks out and I play the notes.

Anyway thanks again for the tips, I'll be sure to try that method. However, I need to swing my hands a fair bit to stop my knuckles hitting the notes instead xD

Just saying, the title of the actual song is "Flowering Night" by ZUN. Night of Nights is an arrange by someone else, not the original. Change your title accordingly, if you want it to be known by the arrange or by the original. This is based of the arrange evidently, so give credit to the arranger as well.
