Wrong chords? Not at all. I would have played so too, to give it that acoustic-guitar feeling to the song. No wrong chords, just the way you wouldn't have played it, but don't say wrong chords please. The guy played that really well and in the right way.

Dude, your a little off on the left hand fingering... fills good though. On a tablature it's written to hold E (6) on the 5th fret and D and A (4-5) on the 7th fret while putting your middle finger on G (3) at the 6th fret. Good song, too bad they don't normally include that on live performances.
