Why would you not say the same thing about an image made with "technologies" such as oil, watercolour, graphite, ink, engraving, mosaic, etc.? None of them "make" art. Rather, they are just part of the process.
The video's intent was not to make art, but to focus on the innate potential of the human, and the need to take full account of this in the design of technology. I hope this helps clarify. Bill

Is the generated image in vectors? All that zooming and panning was very fast and impressive - I did not notice artifacts caused by stretching.
