I remember when Pele was released in '96, fans and critics alike said it wasn't as good as her previous stuff. Same thing happened in '01 when Scarlet's Walk was panned by fans and critics. Nowadays those 2 albums are arguably her greatest masterpeices. I'm sure in 5 to 10 years people will say AATS is a masterpiece (because it is!) Seems like Tori is lightyears ahead of her fans and the industry. Btw, Taylor Swift covers Sorta Fairytale in concert ... and it's amazeballs ;)
I love Tori, and I love this song for personal reasons. I lived in England for two years with a "step dad" who was a drunk and very abusive. I learned alot about myself during that time, 16 years ago. I listened to her even then. She got me through alot . I will always love her, and her music

Actually, for your information, Tori has been around way before Lady Gaga came on the scene. You should check out her early work - its fantastic! Got the attention of the young Trent Reznor who did the background vocals on"Past the Mission" on her sophomore album, "Under the Pink."

I hate it when people say america has no history or culture. It has quite an ancient history and culture. Tha natives were here long before the European settlers came and took their land, children and well slowly tried to kill them off. Their history matters and their culture matter. History and culture is not only specific to Europeans just because they wrote it down. Scarlet's Walk which is the last really amazing album Tori made (in my opinion of course!) talks about this tragedy.
This song sounds pretty awful when you first hear it but then later it becomes catchy, deep and a bit sad. That's the only problem with Tori's new music. It seems absolutely terrible first but in many cases is better than a lot of the early stuff. She truly is a musical genius and has been for decades and will continue to be for many years to come.

Actually, for your information, Tori has been around way before Lady Gaga came on the scene. You should check out her early work - its fantastic! Got the attention of the young Trent Reznor who did the background vocals on"Past the Mission" on her sophomore album, "Under the Pink."

I hate it when people say america has no history or culture. It has quite an ancient history and culture. Tha natives were here long before the European settlers came and took their land, children and well slowly tried to kill them off. Their history matters and their culture matter. History and culture is not only specific to Europeans just because they wrote it down. Scarlet's Walk which is the last really amazing album Tori made (in my opinion of course!) talks about this tragedy.

This song sounds pretty awful when you first hear it but then later it becomes catchy, deep and a bit sad. That's the only problem with Tori's new music. It seems absolutely terrible first but in many cases is better than a lot of the early stuff. She truly is a musical genius and has been for decades and will continue to be for many years to come.

The attitude of people stinks, old people run the place, the weather sucks, a place where muslims are slowly making theres and the only place to be proud of is London, everyone is so tense, you cant enjoy life because your either working or indoors due to the shitty weather.

This song tells me how different life is for northerners compared to southerners, and having lived in both michigan and florida, i know first-hand. its more gritty in northern locations, necessitating the need to 'make ur own sun'.
