if you think this is crazy at one time a man try to skydive and land on the arch so he could use a 2nd parachute to base jump off it did not work out as soon as he landed on the arch he 1st parachute was caught by the wind and he was pulled off to his death this happen back in the early 80s and a another guy try to clime it with suction cups on his hands and knees so he could get to the top to base jump he did not make it ether...... but i do remember one guy that did it but he went to jail
