Malik B. absolutely DESTROYED both of them. He's one of the very few cats that could probably make Black Thought re-write his verse. I guess that's why they were a team :)
Now this is true hiphop music with real lyricism and content. A lot of people forget that hiphop is not a music genre alone. Hiphop is a culture consisting of 5 elements: Emceeing, DJing, B-Boying, Producing, and Graffiti. We need to remind the rest of the world what Hiphop truly is. Im starting a movement to bring Hiphop back called "Hiphop Heads" on facebook and I need help getting the movement started. So if you wanna help, then go to facebook and search "Hiphop Heads: A Hiphop Movement."
this beat is dark but sooooo smooth though. She and The Roots be killin shit. Malik B wrapped this up real nice. From 219 to the 215 I give yall mad props.
Even the outro to this song is dope. Also, I think this is the first song I've heard where an emcee was able to integrate the entire SAW (sallallahou alayhi wasallam) into his verse.
@briannnafayeo0o I REMEMBER HANGING BY BRIDGE AND PRATT THIS JUST CAME OUT 3333 THE HARD WAY CLASSIC GO GO GO GOG GOG GOG GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
beats and rhymes. this is what heads wanted Lauryn to do. Miseducation was mad dope. This album is the epitome of a raw female lyricist. Lauryn may be the best, but Bahamadia is the dopest. Kinda Wu Tang is the illest crew but Hiero has influenced so many/one of the illest but slept on. The underdogs need more proper shine
I think Lauryn has the potential, but she is so gifted with singing as well, and she has gone in a more spiritual path. Still sick, and Bahamadia is just straight up hip hop. People always like to stick female in there but she is mad sweet whatever her gender is. People don't know she wrote for male MCs as well.
Loool, I meant nicki minaj cant come close to her cause she has no good lryics...if you've ever really sat down and read nicki's lyrrics yu'd see how much she sucks.
