I think this is great too, but i have to say, i was a schwimmer and the people who are in the run are not the same old, they get ranked by the time they made the last time, schwimming, in this case 25 m butterfly.

@Voodoschnecke Thanks for the comment. You are correct that they are ranked for the heat by their previous best time. They are all 9 or 10 years old.  Jay was competing as a 9 year old. Their final times are shown in red on the right of the scoreboard.

Great job! I have always been impressed by the talent and dedication of disabled swimmers. I have at swim meets where kids have swam and won when they only had one arm, or part of one arm and part of one leg, or who don't have anything from the knees down. It doesn't matter if your disabled you do what you love no matter the hurdles you have to over come. As a swim coach to a swimmer great race! Remember to keep that head down and not to breath going into your finish!

Okay so I'm a swimmer I actually swim at this pool year round and I can tell you that this is impressive. One armed is quite hard, and you saw his breathing pattern. Watch all the other kids and their breathing. This kid dint win because one armed is easier, its not. He won because he has skill and his breathing and keeping his head down helped him majorly.

Having only one arm or only using one arm in butterfly would actually be an advantage at that age. Maybe not Michael Phelps level but when your young enough and can't do the stroke perfect, only using one arm would help. But good for him I respect him for swimming with a disability!
