Another video using the original footage with Pepsi Demacque but dubbing over it the recorded version from TBIII with Cara Dillon's lovely voice on it. I can only assume the TV programme had also over-dubbed the original recorded version.

This song is the original version of "moonlight shadow". This is not sung by Sally Oldfield. Many people still think she did "moonlight shadow", but it was Maggie Reilly.

MMmm I don't know... maybe it has some similar melodies to Moonlight Shadow but the thematic is completely different. Definitely it's Sally's voice, check out the booklet ;) And yes, you're right... Maggie Reilly sung Moonlight :)

This song was actually written nearly at the same time as Moonlight shadow, and was intended to be released at the same time in the album Crises. But Mike changed his mind, since they sound quite similar. So it was hidden in his drawer from 1983 until the release of TB III in 1998. As you say, Maggie Reilly sang Moonlight shadow, but Man in the rain is sung by Heather Burnett. (Just check the sleeve of the album)

I didn't know he had written the song fifteen years before it was released but it's quite possible.

You know, I have my serious doubts about the singer of this song... will have to see the Oldfields and ask them personally ;)

"Man in the rain" features Cara from Polar Star (for Cara Dillon). That's what is written in the booklet of the CD. Heather Burnett only makes the ADDITIONAL vocals.
