I really enjoy your reviews of Case knives. I have several of their knives, and I think the deep blue with the red shield is the most pleasing of their color combinations. I hope you'll put up more reviews of your Case knives. I'd also like to see Great Eastern Cutlery reviews. (And, just for the record, there are still a few of us in the States who don't like Lincoln and reckon he got better than he deserved.)
You have to love that a Congress knife was popularized by a President. (Lincoln spent a very VERY short amount of time in the House as a Whig.) Lovely blue color...
Another great video keep it up. Just wondering what kind of knives may have been given to you and what conditions were given for them to be passed onto another?
@stschmalhaus Oh just trying to make a joke. All that talk about ugly Abe and people giving him ugly knives. Not that the Case Medium Congress is ugly. I don't think Case makes any ugly knives, but don't let it go to your head. Just because Case gave you a beautful knife :)
Awesome! Congrats on the knife from Case. Well Stefan you are now famous! Like always, great video. It's interesting how I continue to learn little bits of American history from you. I guess I need to read fewer novels and more history books!
I very much enjoy your vids. I wait in anticipation of learning something new every day. That is my goal for being a member of YouTube. You make that goal an easy task. Great content.
Good Job Stefan! If you cought Case's attention than that is just great!!!!! Congrats on that :), you make great review's so its not a shocker!! As always a fantastic review Stefan.
This video is incredible! Fantastic work on this one Stefan. You really went above and beyond in providing great production, history, technical details and your personal thoughts. BTW, I would have loved to heard the unedited version of the video where I could hear who "the most hated" YouTuber was. :)
I have fallen in love with the Case knives just because of your vids. I just scored a CASE XX Genuine Oktoberfest Muskrat 1/500 Pocket Knife, which is #1 in the series. I dont know how valuable it is but it is gorgeous. I got it for 58 bucks. Keep the vids coming.
Another great video of another beautiful pocket knife. I really enjoy the combination of traditional knife patterns and interesting historical and literary anecdotes that you use in these Case reviews.
another great video! your videos are the reason i got in to collecting case knives..keep up the good work!!!!! would love to hear more on the peanuts and maybe something similar. no matter what great videos
@stschmalhaus i have been reading twain for awhile his work is awesome. he is actually buried half an hour from where i grew up. his autobiography that was just released is a really great look in to what shaped him and his writing.l
Very nice video on the Congress knife...and the little history lesson. You probably know more about American History then alot of my fellow US citizens. Thanks for the review, well done Sir.
You are the most American German I've ever seen, Stefan. Right on! haha. Dude your comments had me rolling! There is nothing corrupt about a company donating something to you in recognizing your superb work here on YT. That's a beautiful little folder there. I enjoyed this video. Great bit of history and that's a really cool postcard.
My Tree Brand Boker has 3 sheeps foot blades and one pen blade. I belive a congress knife is verry pratical.
