Ok, if I went back in time,

I know I would have made a time machine. If said time machine could only go backwards, you're only real problem is the time between your past self figuring it out, and your future self kinda stuck with you. So he didn't have to kill himself, he just had to wait till he figured it out the machine and then replace himself.

He could of just been a catalyst and helped his past self create it. Thus creating a limit that approaches zero. he would be building it faster

Yes, he killed himself in the past...but how do you know that he didn't only kill himself in the past in a different reality? If this is the case, then killing himself in a different reality wouldn't effect himself in the past in the reality he came from.

Of course, no one in their right mind would want to take that chance anyways.

well you said you researched about time travel, so if you go back to the past and kill your self, what will happen ? use your brain, then the new you will dissapear as well. So by killing him self he did the most stupid thing possibl all he had to do is wait until he (in the past) will try back there so he(from the futere) is left in present ;)

This is great as a piece on its own, however, time-travel is a complicated process (hence why most time-travelling in popular films such as Next and Deja Vu have huge plot holes) and the future self of this guy killing the present one would destroy the continuum for the present one to build the time-machine, so where did the future one come from?? What am I talking about? Arrggh!! Time-Travel pisses me off...

hahaha. Yeah the future himself. We didn't have time to really think and write this film out. But yeah his future self figured out to travel back in the past. He got stuck there. Now it makes two of him. He decides to kill his present self so the future self can live his present self's life. But then again it doesn't make sense. If his present self died, then he would never have built the time machine, right? I don't what we made this movie about. But we made it in the top three!!!
