  • Sorry, this comment being placed on FIRST FEW seconds of clip.

Later on it be looking real (me thinks)

  • Waaaaa!!! This be DRINKING FIST or POT QUAN (like "crack pot').

He be a REAL killer sending chills down my spine ...

  • relax hip joint

  • i told my grandmaster wang "what does this have to do with me learning kung fu?"

he said "this is an internal art of kung fu"

  • There is actually no point discussing the skills of Master Wang Sheng Wen, as he was one of the best disciple of Master Wang Xuan Jie, whose great skills have been demonstrated many times.

People have the rights to find it funny though...

  • hahahaah

  • that's rad! Yi Chuan was far more difficult for me to grasp coming from a karate background.

keeping the chi while turning is still quite difficult for me to do.

the first part where he was doing 360's, awesome.

Jan Jong is still my favorite thing, and definitely has helped my art in keeping a center & balance. & feeling the thickness of the chi is just a bonus.

  • beutiful:)))) (applause))

  • People are very ignorant, and it shows below. I Chuan is as real as it comes. Go see Sam Tam in B.C. Canada he'll show you;) Just because it doesn't look like your karate or tai kwon do...DON'T JUDGE UNTIL YOU FEEL IT. lmfao Get your head out of your butt people, and learn about things before you judge them. The founder of this style was undefeated worldwide.

  • to you people who say this looks ridiculous, it is you who do not know what you are talking about, he is grounded in alignment , he has good turning moves, try and do i chuan like that even for a few minutes you probably wont last more then a minute.

  • i a gung fu fighter.........and i love gung fu...but man.......this is kinda disturbing

  • It is formless; it seems he also uses some Bagua moves.

  • You have to read on this style to understand! Its formless but the user utilizes his/her natural rythm. It may look silly but good gung fu isnt pretty!

  • You're kidding me right? did this really get uploaded....

  • Sad to see Maradonna come to this - let it be a lesson to all of you about the dangers cocaine!

  • Awesome Yiquan - like to see any of you sceptics live for one second with him in a challenge

  • it some times look like xin yi quan, intresting work!

  • Not very good.... :-(

  • I'd love to see him fight KIMBO (LOL)!

  • doesn't seems so good....

  • cat chasing moth, dog frolicking with liter mates, monkey pulling on vines. i muse as i watch yet i can see that he is shadow boxing. its really good though as i can see how he deals with certain energies coming from is opponents.

  • the first minute . . . can anyone say Star Wars kid? =p

  • why are all the Masters that practice that art so fat?

  • Wang xiang zhai-the fouder was a very thin and small man, also his successor-Yao zungxun and his sons.

maybe some people get bigger because they like to eat or becaue of genetics...

i think that the spirit they project and the way they move is much more interesting then their diet...esspecialy Wang shangwen is awsome!

  • well he s well drunk

  • i thought same when i first watched.... is this man drunk?

  • nah no way... he's on crack

  • The side kick is an inferior attack! :-0

  • side kick will KO him.

  • david le

  • thenk you

  • LOOKS LIKE A DRUNK GUY TRYING TO FIGHT

  • So this is the Dragon Dance!! I have never seen anyone move like this before. Not even the tai chi people move like he does. He is coordinated and flowy, and yet there some power there. At the end you see him taking some kicks to the solar pelxus. There are no fix movement, the blocks and attack flow together. How would I fight his guy?

  • Take a gun, you are sure to win!

  • The very beginning he looks crunk and its pretty funny.. If I was in my house an saw some guy outside doing that.. I'd call the cops..lol But it is a very strange art..

  • Ah just saw your other video. I see the applications now. my apoligie.

  • What kind of kung fu style is this...

Is it really rare? I've never seen it before.

Does it have practical applications/two people form?

  • This is a relatively practical style called Yiquan. It is not rare in Northern China but is rare outside China. It was created by Wang Xiangzhai,a xingyi expert who thought that people spent too much time thinking about their forms and not enough time thinking about how they use their mind and spirit in combat. He eradicated all forms training and made standing meditation the key element in his system. It is known in China as Yiquan and Dachengquan. In Japan as Tai Ki Ken.
