we stayed there in July 2010, the place is fantastic and my room's beds were awesome. The beach and pool are awesome, however, the food is quite expensive (which really isnt a problem, since you can just go out to eat in Old San Juan) but yeah, the fort, is regrettably, locked up.

We stayed there in June 2010 - the best thing about this place are the showers. We stayed one night in the "Garden Wing," and it was OK, The second night we stayed in the "Hilton Honors" wing and the bed was outstanding. Beyond that, everything is overpriced and the service was mediocre. The place looks like a redone 1950's hotel. The grounds are nice, but the fort is locked up and unaccessible. Overall, I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Thinking about doing a jumpseat there for a little 'me-time.' It'd be nice just to sit in the warm sun and read by the pool.

I stayed at the Caribe Hilton Hotel when I returned to Puerto Rico for the 2nd time in 1987. I am pleased to see the wonderful job the hotel did restoring & expanding the hotel. My stay there was one of the most wonderful experiences that I enjoyed.

Of all my travels, this is my favorite ocean mecca!!! Perfect resort. This is my favorite hotel in the world. Perfect location, away from the traffic of Condado. Perfect beach, perfect amenities. Puerto Rico has so much to offer, from the sun and surf during the day, to the exciting night life!!!I have stayed her e 4 times and plan on visiting in 2009....cannot wait!!!!
