  • awareness is key

  • This spoke to me on the deepest level. Just so profound and amazingly articulated.

  • man thinks in LANGUAGE-WORDS, god thinks in DNA.

there is something wrong with the ACT of thinking with MAN.

ANIMALS are more pro-life than MAN. Why? cause man dosnt know where not to apply thought.

  • ‎'Money' is the current delusion appended in order to support atrocities committed towards other human beings...

    M.D. - A.D.

  • good question indeed.....

  • a true signal of love to mankind,

  • Well...I dont know about the blind spot in his message..one obvious part is to stop the killing...meaning STOP THE WAR.(fits the Americans forever..still wont get it)

  • There is a blind spot on Krisnamutri's words....change to what?

  • @TheVenusProjectGr everybody wants change but isnt willing to change themselves for the better of society, be the chgange YOU want to see in this world is what he means, its not specific

  • @Sp33dyMik3 If that is what he means he should first define tha characteristics of a better society. The way he understands it at least i mean.He has done a very good job but i still beleive this is a blind spot of his teachings.

  • @TheVenusProjectGr if we really understood, there isn't a need for explanation of all that. It comes naturally.

  • @noddwyd War, interpersonal conflict, our, habits, illusions, everything is about physical and psychological self preservation. We try to change and then personal and interpersonal patterns pull us back. Jesus said something about not putting new wine into old bottles; it's about total transformation. We need to be desperate enough to let go of the known but not so desperate that we think it is too late that it is impossible. It's not that we don't know or don't care, it's that we don't dare.

  • @TheVenusProjectGr

If anything the Venus project should benefit from a changed human being,

a man without fear, understanding his thoughts and failed emotions, an unemotional

    yet fully loving being.

    example.

Why do you care for the false image of your ego, and all of your useless memories,

that you use daily to identify you and others?

Letting go of psychological pain and sorrow is a huge deal.

    aren't you interested?

    k: ).

  • Words of Wisdom!

  • Yes its scary to feel isolated

  • brilliant man

  • Why don't we change??? Because it's easier to see ourselves as inherently separate, as superior to others, or as victims. It's easier to blame societies for the misery, hatred and cruelty in the world. But this must stop.

It’s time to realise that this world is our collective creation. It’s time to become ...to live...the change we want in the world, individually and collectively.

  • @tzraikat how you don't choose were u are born nor were you die nor in what way.

  • @TheLovesoul1

I think we do choose where and when we are born, but that's another matter. Do you really feel so helpless? Why don't you at least try to change, and see for yourself whether or not it makes a difference to your life and those around you? You don't have to be a world saviour, just a better person: kinder, more willing to see the good in others; more truthful; more wiling to stand up for what you believe is true; thinking for yourself; doing something, however small, for others.

  • @tzraikat i know there's good in others the "others" just don't see it it angers me greatly what people are doing to gaia yet they don't see so humanity as ego or persona is wicked but humanity as a soular being is pure and innocent i have no problem with other beings on a base level though. take care.

  • @TheLovesoul1 There are more people who care than you know...thousands of ordinary people quietly doing what they can to improve things....living simply and sustainably, helping others, being kind, and speaking up against what is wrong. Will you only change if it becomes fashionable? if everyone else does it? Where is the courage in that? Choose something to stand for, and do something useful about it. Ignorance is inexcusable, but knowing and doing nothing about it is shameful. Never give up

  • @tzraikat thanks brother.

  • Why can you change?

If everything you know is wrong.

  • Get Krishnamurti ans Sagan to come back!

  • @OM3N1R

I don't think Krishnamurti would care to come back, He's message is clear, Sagan yet probably would.

  • You don't need anybody but yourself.

  • Was he in an English field at 3:40?

  • amazing, adresses many problems, the problem begins with us.

  • this guy is pure class!

  • The problem isn't non-changing people. People in fact, spent too much effort trying to be something which they are not ; they become lairs toward themselves which inevitably results into lying to others. However, I understand what that man is talking about.

  • quelqu'un pour traduire en français?

  • Very interesting and inspiring words. Personally I feel there has to be a desire to change, either a momentary spark or perhaps a drip drip effect, but there has to be a shift in consciousness and awareness that our old thought patterns and ways of behaving in the world are making us unhappy. As Gandhi said - "Be the change you want to see in the world"

  • Now the preconception here is that we indeed DON'T CHANGE

    that's WRONG

we DO change, gradually, but for most of us, unconsciously, ans pretty damn slow.

We accept new ideas, mace conclusions from our experience, but because it is mostly unconscious, people can easily be led and misled (by government, media, social conditioning and other influences.)

I believe the real question would be not why, but HOW

HOW can I change my life to be the one I desire?

It makes the brain find solutions...

  • @skydragon4ever Krishnamurti shies away from the "how" question, and I have to agree with him.

He says basically that the "how" already means "method". Methodology is engaging the mind in a pattern-seeking categorical way, and usually that fails when it comes to becoming "real" and "true" to the self. Methods are mechanical, just like most of our cognition, but what is asked of us by this brilliant mind is to "think outside the box" literally... this will have to mean abandoning the "how".

  • @deadadelta, you just watched Donnie Darko didnt you..... And you listened to the teacher, blocking out every other reflections the movie have....

  • This is such a beautiful human...

  • Krishnamurti was as serious and intense about this question of human change as anyone I have ever known or known about. Though he, like all the rest of us, was not perfect, he was deeply, passionately reflective about the sacredness of life and the human condition.

  • Their are only TWO (2) "NATURAL " Human Emotions

    #1. LOVE

    #2. FEAR

Many Emotions can Manifest from FEAR, Arrogance, Failure, Paranoia, Preachers, priest, Iman, Rabbi's use FEAR to Control People and get their Money, Bankers Create TERRORISM to take away FREEDOM for Control Patriot Act etc

JESUS said LOVE God with all your Heart Mind & Soul, Love Eachother, as I have Loved you

61ad Revealed to PAUL that all will be SAVED, PAUL wrote NOW (61ad) I have a Sound Mind & "NO FEAR" see wwwASKELMcom

  • I want to ask something to anyone. Can EACH human bring this transformation that Krishnamurti is talking about??? I mean EACH human being.

  • Krishnamurti seemed to be jaded towards the human condition in his later years

  • @Trogontherium1 You have missed the point completely. That is what he is talking about. Once one recognizes the 'causes' which are always personal, one has the power to change. Moreover, we can decide to be who we are, what we do and how we do it. Ego causes blindness of truth and lameness in terms of collective action. It is always easy to find excuses. If you know so much about psychology and new ideas, it didn't go far, try again.

  • The music at the end is very pretty. Anyone know where JK might have been exploring?

  • @AutumnSplendors Wake-Up Srylishly, the Idea...!Namaste.

  • ...because "Change-seed" needs Time to sprout? But look at the flower now....!NamastE.

  • watch?v=vfYjOYQUcV4 ,,,, So chilled! Brilliant talk ... brilliant background music. Why don't people change?

  • Respond to this video... because Change is only 5-sensically understood, so far. !Nasmaste.

  • Not a day goes by I don't ask myself this question.

  • @renoo27 "Change-You-Ask-4" Alert, !NamastE.

  • Long Live J.Krishnamurti in all of us

  • man i first heard this it almost made me cry. why don't we change?

  • @parisfaith "Change-Available", !NamastE.

  • This man is good. O_O

Well its necessary a real reeducation.

  • @Play671 "Back-2-School". !NamastE.

  • @AntiChrista4WPeace Why i need to study? many stupid people say that, with out reason. If you think i need to see what the world suffers, the school will not teach me. Stop, saying that to the people of true, not have any logic.

  • @Play671 Opps, that's not what I meant. I was referring 2 your real reeducation. I agree. hence B2S.

  • @AntiChrista4WPeace

yes, I think re-education in the world. My philosophy is disturbed when someone says that. I always think that sentence on the negative side. And since then I crush.

  • @Play671 hei, you sounds like a reflex-Ninja! Meant, with Peace! LoL.

  • He does have a point... A VERY GOOD ONE!

  • People don't change because they are so deeply identified with the EGO personality, that any suggestion to change them will be considered a personal attack on them selves. and require a retaliatory response.

In this mode of defensiveness it is nearly impossible to learn anything new or to take an objective look at one's self.

People are frozen in a kind of spiritual death.

    They have no soul power.

The soul is just dragged around by the imposter mind as a rag doll.

This is the work of Satan.

  • @VeggiePower303 your is an ideology

  • @MyDenis0 People don't Change but "Change" is inevitable...!NamastE.

  • @AntiChrista4WPeace dk<cbnahksdbac<dh

  • @VeggiePower303 Right so it is always easy for people to blame everything that they do and feel quilty about it to Satan huh? Like for example "I can't lose weight, it is Satan in me!", "I failed at school, it is Satan's fault!". "I raped this girl, it was not my fault, it was Satan!". It is only when people take responsibility for their actions that this world will become more functional and more peaceful.

  • @wetvetonthenet Yes it is all Satan's fault. But our fault is in listening to the he's negative suggestions.

Unfortunately today most people are so engrossed in negativity, they don't really have an other choice.

They don't even hear the positive voice of God within.

I am all for taking responsibility, but the reality of the situation is that people don't even have a clue what that means anymore.

  • @VeggiePower303

If you think that entity exists why do you spell it's name with a captial letter. Wouldn't that be idolizing it.

  • @ocarina2boy I hate to brake it to you, but it is proper grammar to capitalize names in a sentence.

Al dough I sometimes do write he's name none capitalized because I have zero respect for him.

And I don't just think he exists, but I know he exists, because I have seen him and talked to him and felt him numerous times.

And I am not afraid of him because I also know GOD.

And if satan could destroy me he would have destroyed me already.

Trust me he tried many times.

    But GOD always intervened.

  • @EvenStar303

It is quite clear from your delusional comments that you are in need of anti-psychotic medication.

  • @ocarina2boy Or maybe you are just completely ignorant of your predicament and what kind of reality you were born into. Ignorance is, when you are ignoring the in your face obvious fact that Satan is running this world.

Just look at all the corruption and wars. What other proof you need?

  • @EvenStar303

Let's say satan is real and he/she/it is in control of the world and has been for thousands of years. Satan is the sorce of all the hurt, frustration and pain on this planet. Where is God in all this? The creator of the universe and of everything, including satan, obviously does not give a shit about the earth or anything on it. God could stop the pain on this planet and fix it in a microsecond, but does nothing. Alteast satan is actually doing something.

  • @ocarina2boy God is not a dictator like Satan is.

God governs by Unconditional Love and Compassion.

If you chose Love and Compassion to be your guiding principles you are under the protection of God and than you will see He's hand working in every facet of your life.

But if you reject He's Love either by saying that God does not exist or embracing the Dark Side by searching for self gratification at the expense of others. Than God still honors your decision and stays out of your life.

  • @EvenStar303 The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination. -Albert Einstein

  • @ocarina2boy ...But the down side is, than by default you are under the "protection of Satan".

There is no middle ground and "no man can serve two Masters."

And than Satan will lead you into destruction and you will be completely delusional.

Yet you will feel you are right all the time and sane.

This is what happened to this whole planet.

Look how everyone has their own opinions and completely convinced that they are the only ones who got it right. But God is going to liberate this planet soon.

  • @ocarina2boy Also when you are asking a question, it is proper grammar to end the sentence with a ? mark.

You are missing two of them in your inquiry.

    Cheers!

  • @VeggiePower303

    If I may,

what you say at the beginning is correct, by ourselves identifying, with memories and these memories or residues of memories and desires, is what makes our ego.

But to truly change, we cannot have any moral authority such as ..say Jesus or Satan to tell us how.

The decision must be ours, How?

observe the FACTS, by examining the structure of the nature, of our ideas, desires, suffering,

until the truth is revealed, once you see it, it loses all power over you.

  • @WolfEyesatNight Why can we not have any moral authority?

Learning from a wise teacher is always a good idea.

The decision to accept something or not from a teacher is always yours.

Based on the trust that was earned by the teacher, by leading an exemplary life, should be enough to accept he's advice.

But we have to truly scrutinize that teacher before we give unconditional trust to Him or Here.

  • @EvenStar303

Because you will depend on it. And why do you need it? Solving problems and situations based on other people thoughts rather then acually looking, feeling and acting accordingly.

Say a man is sitting on a crowded sidewalk, looking down. 99% of the people who pass by will look at him, then at someone else for "guidence". They dont react, so why should I? I wanna hit the shops before they close etc.

Would they have stopped up if no one else was there?

  • @EvenStar303

    @EvenStar303

I hoped by this time, you already have answered your own question,

You see, for any question you might have and however how difficult it might be,

you can answer it yourself without the guidance of any authority.

You have to be a light to yourself.

by inquiring into the nature of the problem.

    : )

  • @WolfEyesatNight What are you talking about?

    That was a rhetorical question.

And I answered it in the same post.

Your understanding is sketchy and lacks any depth.

Yet you are trying to teach it.

    Go deeper!

We are ALL-ONE so to accept a teaching from someone who demonstrated higher understanding and realization is like accepting an advice from your own Higher SELF.

Only the EGO says, I am separate and I must be a light to my self.

The true SELF is Universal and we have to link up to THAT!!!

  • @EvenStar303

i'm always open to someone who is interested in the well being of us all, so please

    humbly, let me ask you.

How do you link to your true self, without understanding?-

isn't the self, who inquires and looks at the ego?

Can the self, look at the ego and analyse it?

the ego being all of our desires and memories.

    please help me.

    k : )

  • @WolfEyesatNight You are asking me to explain something that can not be explained.

That is why it is called the "Peace that passeth understanding".

    THAT is the true SELF.

However you can experience it directly.

Please see my video titled "What Is PEACE?"

    Cheers! :0)

  • @VeggiePower303 You have said it very good! But it is not the work of Satan, it is the work of evolution and time

  • @osmo321 That is also the work of Satan, he created the concept of Evolution and the concept Time to deceive people. Time does not exist as we understand it. Evolution does not exist either they are both circular phenomenon on the out side. But internally time is only now and evolution is vertical.

  • @EvenStar303 Well, i guess it can be called the work of Satan.

  • @EvenStar303 But do you realize that Satan is also a concept created by the human mind?

  • @Trogontherium1 so you think that we all made society beacuse we want to suffer.that we chosse in the course of history to make society.you think that this isnt human nature that SOCIAlizing isnt in human nature.humans need to be with other humans.our species depends on it to make a person it takes 2 not 1, 2 living humans.Krishnamurti s mind was created by a social world.you say to this guy to educate in psychology but education it self its a part of society.sorry for the bad english

  • @MyDenis0 I am sorry to say my friend, but you don't have a clue what you are talking about nor what Krishnamurti is talking about.

There is a whole new and different REALITY out there for those who have gone beyond the conditioning of society.

You should start meditating and search your inner SELF for higher consciousness.

    Go beyond mind!

Se my videos for a glimpse of "NO-MIND"!

  • @EvenStar303 what?Do you know why i wrote that?Do you know the discusion behind that 4 months old comment?I was arguing about society Trogontherium1stated that society is not in human nature i thoght otherwise.Dont want to offend but im not interested about youre thoughts about anything. So or you should prove that society isnt in human nature by using obejctiveness which would interest me or do what ever else you like which i dont care.

  • Bonjour à toutes et à tous!

Si quelqu'un(e), savait ajouter une traduction...sous-titrage...etc...en Français, d'avance, deux milliards de mercis! :)

  • Open

  • that should be shown in schools and Universities

  • We must unite our minds and wishes

  • look into ones self to start realize its not ME but ME as a whole with everyone

  • What can i do to change? should i just go out and start revolting ? throw all my money in front of the parlament? what can i do to change and help the others to change?

  • @soubuemau22 stop asking others for the answers to your questions. listen without judgment, and find that source of true being.

  • @soubuemau22 ...by understanding this Change is spiritually, Individually and collectively...!NamastE.

  • jiddu has got similiar problem. he was even master of one group and gave order to destroy that group. when I see how it works, how those assholes walk around your ass disturbing your peace, I'm, with him totally.

  • Comment removed

  • happy birthday krishnaji

  • @Trogontherium1 But the society IS us...it is created by us. The two are not separate. Sociology and psychology always separates the me from the society/conditioning. That's false isn't it? You and I have created the society....the outer world is a mirror of the inner.

  • @lejaz ...and "us" is part of our Universe. !NamastE.

  • 18 people were exposed to truth and couldn't handle it, and will be back someday.

  • why don't people understand fuck... all great men have been preaching nothing but love and unity but no one ever listens ....

  • @TheUndertakerSaysRIP ...because the Time wasn't r!ght? !NamastE.

  • Don't search for a final and ultimate truth. Don't ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness, he is another source of conflict. Observe the very actions, the thoughts, which provoke your physical actions and inquire about them.

  • @JinxOz You Win

  • @NewPeaceOrder Yes-2-NPO, No-2-NWO...!Namas+E.

  • @JinxOz What do you mean by source of conflict?

  • @JinxOz Well said

  • @MultiTheTyler Thank you

  • @Trogontherium1 which is precisely what he was speaking against though.lol

  • GOD...東方の星の教団の解散はもはや伝説だ...

  • @ROSECROIX21 He heard you....!NamastE.

  • GOD is speaking directly through him in a unconditioned an simple way, because of that its so difficult to understand... Its pure Love he lived his live for all kind... Thank you Jddu!

  • Krishnamurti talks about misery, and how we should try to solve it, but its misery itself that causes people to act for the better. the reason people don't act, and therefore don't change, is not just because they has superficial happiness, but also because their misery is also superficial, and doesn't move them far enough. I say cultivate your misery. K must have experienced great misery about the world, for him to be moved to see that it requires something different. Intense misery motivates.

  • The very fact that there are all these people on youtube, commenting on these video's including me, is nothing but a testament to the fact that this way of thinking doesn't seem to change anything. someone on here has said that change must be done collectively, but that realistic in my opinion-change can only begin from an single individual, and then the mission of that person is to change as many lives as possible, knowing that he himself will never change the entire world...

  • Maybe competition is necessary; without competition, then the knowledge we have of the world would not be where it is now. I like how Krishnamurti challenges us to try and change, but another part of me thinks that some of what he says in very idealistic. I think its quite easy to say things like "we are all one species", and that we are "all connected", but its clear, i think, that discussing the global issue that is humanity in this way, just isn't solving the problem....

  • @begily the same competition can also lead to destruction..

  • L o v e -_-) א ה ב ה

  • This man died the year I was born and still managed to reach me.

  • To seek the truth, go to google and type in Truth Contest, and click on the first result. Read The Present on the first page. If you can write a better entry, please let us know.

  • awesome clear vid

  • @Trogontherium1 What he is saying here is very simple, he suggests, asking your self if you care, care about changing. Can you, I, ask this simple question? Not ask and run away, stay with the question, a few hour, lets look at it, he said.

  • @Trogontherium1 And, OF COURSE, our "conditioning" is a problem. We MUST see that we, in our present state, our "out of control" units. Through self-examination we see how damaged we really are. And WHAT new ideas? There are no "New Ideas."...really...the great masters are really all saying the same thing, albeit differently sometimes, depending on the "audience." Stillness Speaks...Divine Consciousness...The way to "fix" the mind, is to pull back from it...SEE it,, and then not ACT from it..

  • @Trogontherium1 You're entirely missing the point...The Mind is a wonderful Tool - but makes a Lousy Boss..."Psychology" is just another manipulation of the Mind - The MIND cannot find the way Out of the Jungle - The Mind IS the Jungle - There is Something Beyond/Behind the Mind - Consciousness- Krishnamurti is pointing toward THIS - as ALL great Spiritual Masters are...it is NOT about whether K knew everything or not...this is a Diversion from the Main Point - you are being Divisive - CHANGE!

  • They didn't listen to Siddhartha's relative... What's makes people think they are gonna listen to Jesus, John and Saladin's? Similar message different package. What's the difference? Guys we can breakout all the DNA test proof in the world and unless they truly listen? It ain't gonna amount to a hill of beans. Which is more valuable than their make believe money; at least I can eat a hill of beans. Peace out my brethren.

  • I have just realised that this guy was probably the origin of the turtle character in kung fu panda lol :P

and don't worry I have a book of this guy's and it is totally amazing.. I am changing :)

btw, I think these comment discussions are really great as, although it is vital to meditate and see this world yourself, it is also good to share your inspirations and help/be helped with working some of the many life questions.

Peace and Love to you all :)

  • It's interesting to see him asking "why haven't you changed" instead of "how can you change".Maybe he was hoping you would figure that part out as part of your personal journey. You. lol

  • @derman077 Yes I did find it interesting also, and more I think about it, it is also clear, that we are the only one that can answer that question.

  • “We must become the change we want to see.” - Mohandas Gandhi

  • Love the accent!

  • i have changed & i continue to grow in my awakened state i speak with many humans i run in to all over the south US but ignorance & prejudice r indoctrinated in many of the old as well as the young.

i want out of the usa i have no pass port & im much of a philosopher so i have little money no pass port.

i live in TN right now lol its a long shit story anyway i am looking for a way to be here as i am free. sustainable living on my land but i still need money in this system any help out there???

  • @vishesfishes I am sorry to tell you this, but no one country is truly free from society :P different countries have different cultures, but it's just a different form of conditioning. I spose to fall in with some gypsey's may be helpful, but you must not despair. To judge those who are not "in an awakened state" is to be hypocritical. There are a lot of nice people out there. just find some love :) and appearance is nothing, so dress nicely to escape prejudice and you may open some people's eye

  • @Ashmanchan10 i have been in with Gypsies B4.

To judge those who are not "in an awakened state" is to be hypocritical. - yes, it is not so much judging it is being tiered of being judged by others & the love they have for being mean to 1 others but they think they are being nice. it is all so confusing sometimes i just want a health environment for us all & im in the process of finding 1 for my self now. i do want to see out of the USA good or bad.

we have rights from our creators.

  • @vishesfishes ok.. I see.. come to australia :D it's quite laid back in places all over here.. but of course you'd need a greencard or whatever and everything and you sort of do need money for that... are you musical at all or do you have any degrees or is there anywhere you can work? invent something? lol there must be some way to get some money.. having your eyes opened doesn't really mean be lazy lol.. so I reckon if you worked for it.. make a plan or whatever you could work it (:

  • @Ashmanchan10 lol no im not lazy i major in philosophy & art i dont do music & i dont do work that is ageist any of my morals i.e. if i wont do it i wont work for some 1 that does.

my wife is a geologist & we have been talking about moving to new zealand.

i have some money but the cost of living is so high i dont save much :(

it is just to unfair of a system my class is low.

i need to just sell everything off & start new. live will always fined a way

  • @vishesfishes lol ok.. that'd be me too.. I'm thinking of environmental lawyer so that I'm always defending the earth and not some scumbag lol.. you could be a teacher? And new zealand's like right next to aus and is quite a great place I think lol Yeah it is.. you're either hard working, little paid or desk job rich pencil sharpener guy :P

It always does :) a little risky when you have a family I spose, but it is always alright in the end...

  • @Trogontherium1 another interesting song is Babylon system (B Marley) - related to the problems with the education system & organised religion.

  • @Trogontherium1 ...thought you might be interested to know that many of Bob Marleys songs also resonates with K's insights. One particular one that comes to mind is War (relating to division), 'So Much Trouble in the world' (relaing to the ego) Others include:'concrete jungle (relating to conditioning)' & slogans (relating to division),

and many others..... infact, many of his songs relate to many of K's teachings.....

  • What if I don't know what to change to?

  • @DontEatEggs666 obviously you can't know what to change to, or you would already be it. just don't continue to be the same, that is change. just see the false and discard it. so don't go with any habitual drive, thats what it means to stay the same, and yet be changed

  • @Trogontherium1 Just like Michael Jacksons advice (man in the mirror)

  • Its how Michael Jackson & J Krishnurmurti reached similar conclusions (referring specifically to his song 'Man in the mirror'

  • change is easier in numbers, start spreading the ideas

  • thxs for that.......................why don't IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIchange!

  • yeah wateva, blocked, blah blah blah....

  • @Trogontherium1 i'm surprised your comment has so many likes as it's at odds with k's message in my opinion...unless you got yer zeitgeist mates to like it? everyone be nice like me...tit!

  • @Trogontherium1 the issues facing man such as war and the rest are but a collective expression of the hate, resentment and anger in the individual man. pontification about the outer is inner action postponed...there is only your mess and your house to put in order and not until you do that will you be able to change society so why even mention society, put yer house in order and then....

  • @Trogontherium1 inner change maybe the first step but unless it happens society won't change and are you telling me that you have fundamentally and radically changed? "we think the problem is economical, political, social...the problem is within and we are unwilling to face it" -k...of course there would a unfied effort, ipso facto, following inner change so there need be no other concern than inner as inner change=outer change. i believe k has emphasised the pointlessness of outer change...

  • @Trogontherium1 the younger are old farts in the making. no-one is deeply interested in change. your statement, if i may, just lull's oneself into further stupour with gratifying ideas of action. outward society is irrelevant as per the vid...inner change is all there is. how do we know that more are interested in change? it maybe the same percentage that has always existed? change is with you, i and the individual not the more ppl. also change is unfortunately very avoidable, look at you and i.

  • Question... If death is the end of conflict for the individual body, doesn't it make a "non-caring" individual more likely to accept the conflict of life in assurance that it will be over for him/her soon enough?

I see a cycle of the same "non-caring" behavior. For an individual that is not concerned with the concept of hell, he/she has no stimulation to change. Fear and consequence is the number one driving force of change. Without it, the normally "non-caring" have no reason to care/change.

  • @kwillcuts yes a but non-caring individual will create a living hell for himself on earth and if he has children will know and see that he has passed it on. life is not over soon enough....it seems like a long road to me personally. and we've had the fear of hell yet it did not change humanty 1 bit. most folk would say they are caring anyway yet obviously we are not. the stimulation, if anything, is the misery that we live. fear of hell will not create love, obviously no?

  • @kwillcuts Everyone cares. Nobody can be non-caring of all things. Even this man on this video cares, why else would he speak these words? Even those who believe in no hell or fear will still care about something. If no afterlife exists then present would matter most, would it not? Value is the #1 motivator/stimulator of the world. It isnt about caring or not caring, it is about what you care about.

  • @Trogontherium1 this not a matter of young or old people. Its a matter of people some people just dont care about others or about the planet and they are plain assholes they care about money and power if we want to change our conciousness we have to cure vanity, lust for power, jealousy, narcissism and other things that make a human being dangerous to others be good to others damn it!

  • @Trogontherium1

To quote someone else that I, according to you, draw identity from: 'if you knew your potential, you would never say 'only human' again.'

Choices are certainly not limited to knowledge. A free mind is an intuitive mind.

Can we leave it at this ? I appreciate your intentions and wish you all the best.

  • @Trogontherium1

How do you know I talk about a mythical state of mind ?

I don't presume to be an authority on K's teachings. Having said that, IMO thay are 100% individualistic. When he says life ia a movement he means that it happens and could just flow through us if we didn't try to grab it and claim an identity based on our experiences.

Nothing against good intentions and good movements, on the contrary, but having witnessed the man I assure you it's a different level from zeitgeists.

  • @Trogontherium1 Sure we are imfluenced by our environment. The remedy is not to 'together create a better society' but to to free oneself from all conditioning, inlcuding zeitgeist etc, by totally perceiving it.

  • @Trogontherium1

I initially reacterd to this text: 'Capitalist relation of production is the impersonal, dehumanising, exploitative, destructive, alienating process of minority monetary nomadic rampaging . you are part of the unthinking majority, mass mind control, colonised for A LIFE OF WAGE SLAVERY.'

The idea that a system is the problem, or that a movement can remedy the situation, is alien to K's teachings. They are imo on a totally different level than zeitgeist etc.
