What's next, bullet resistant baby cribs? Well maybe in the ghetto. Nah, they couldn't afford them unless Barry Obama created another hand out program.
According to their website, ALL their products are rated level 3a, which stops up to and including 44 Magnum, which is about 99% of all handgun rounds.
I am sure that more protection would be nice but this protection seems like it would protect against most of the incidents that actually occur in schools and on the streets.
Yes, I too would rather that my kid (or me) would have nothing than some weak 3a- stops 99% of handgun round type of lightweight armor shield. Just the blunt trauma alone could make me paranoid for life, so I'd rather have a through and though bullet wound than to face the shock of being hit by a 44 magnum round and not killed.
Right now myself and Mr. T and Face are actually welding up a brand new backpack out of plate steel. Try to stop me then.

you miss understand, the blue pack (the first one) is rated at lvl-1 and it is garbage. it won't stop a jacketed 9mm. the second pack (orange) is the IIIA and is the HIGHEST civilian body armor that you can buy. there is nothing better out there for civilians, nothing without a fenely attached.
I didn't check there website, it just seemed odd that they'd use a .22LR and a 9mm SJHP it prove there product works, that's level I product. If I'm mistaken then i apologize, it just didn't make scene to me to use that kind of munition. I just assumed since they demonstrated with level 1 firepower it was level 1 BA. I did check out there website, pretty impressive stuff.

All of the BulletBlocker vest and backpack products are rated at NIJ Threat Level IIIA with test results from H.P. White Laboratory.

--felony attached. so maybe my personal needs are above a IIIA rating. but i would absolutely love to have one rated to stop rifle rounds.

According to their website ALL their products are rated level 3a. So I'm not sure where you saw that the blue one is rated 1.
