If you watch the movie the guy is drunk and gets pulled over by an MP and he shoots the MP and gets his ass beat by other soldiers later on

@TheGamer778 An MP didn't pull him over. The guy along with two other squad members saw him with a pistol and two dead German Officers on the ground. The guy who got shot was trying to persuade the guy to give him the gun, and the drunk guy started to walk back to his jeep when the guy who got shot started to come after him. Then he gets shot in the head. Also the people kicking his ass later on were part of the same company/platoon/etc. as the guy who got shot. That is why he got the beat.
