  • Fair enough (last scene)

  • 6:18 "Why you 'filthy' cat?" That's not exactly a nice word for a family oriented cartoon.

  • Any takers that John's wife is named Marsha?

  • Claude should've been renamed fluffy at 4:35

  • I've never seen this one before going to download this!!

  • Nothing like hearing Mel Blanc SCREAMING like Sam Kinison. My brother used to piss everyone off in the house by suddenly turning up the volume full blast at.. for example 2:40 ..And would wake everyone up. :-)

  • That dog is ANNOYING! That bark...YUCK!!!

  • @MsFESTER11 exactly....

  • Chuck Jones...............we love you.

  • Frisky's a little SD.....Claude got him though ........he who barks last, barks best.

  • Frisky's the hero. Claude's the villain.

  • OMG that dog is a little shit. Glad Claude got him in the end.

  • @G3sal Claude's a 'creep.'

  • Hahah come to think about it, if we humans fell, we should have the ability to land of how the cat does

  • Being advid dog lover and hater of cat i have always love how claude always got it in the end

  • @Gideon1251 I didn't.

  • @lordraider74 Well...it was him. :P

  • ajajajajajajaja que gato hijo d puta

  • This, "Terrier Stricken" and "No Barking," are just the best cartoons ever! :D

  • OW MY EARS! oωo

    It's uploaded so loud!

  • Why the hell is Claude the one that has to go if they don't get along? He was there first.

  • @pytko3, my guess is that the husband spent a great deal of money on the puppy, and he probably also figures that Claude is more expendable because he's older.

  • @pytko3 It really doesn't. Think them as two siblings. Claude being the older child and the puppy being the younger one. Claude feeling left out by the parents aka the owners.

  • the only thing I didn't like about this cartoon was the man of the house automatically assuming that it was Claude that started the blaze in the house when the motherfucker clearly had no proof that it was Claude......to this day I still wish I could have jumped into the cartoon and beat his bitch ass right in front of his old lady

  • @lordraider74 a man of few words... not really, but thanks for that comment ^.=.^

  • @lordraider74 OH, LIGHTEN UP!

  • @lordraider74 wow....really? and who the fuck are the other 9 F'ng psychos that gave your comment a thumbs up? just sad....this is a timeless classic that no way needs your nut-job comments associated with it whatsoever.

  • What an annoying ass little dog . I'm glad Claude gets the last laugh .

  • @Extremeineveryway Me too.

  • I don't like the washing machine bit. Cats die like that from their owners terrible accidents.

  • this is why, I HATE DOGS and ADORE cats. :)

  • It's a Volcano!!!

  • That airborne stop, then landing just kills me...after all these years, it still works. Chuck Jones, you're a genius.

  • 5:16 - 5;31 My favorite part...lol

  • 2:24 to 2:32 .......oh boy, no more mister nice kitty!!

  • Claude's expression at 0:55 is absolutely priceless, as if he's thinking, "Oh,schnapp!"

  • 4:31 lol its a new type of pokemon!

  • The part where Claude plunges the furnace always makes me laugh my ass off.

  • 2:35 - till the end with the running scaring part and landing on the ceiling, absolutely priceless.

  • It's Godou!

  • Comment removed

  • to bad Cats never fall Face first

  • classic...thanks buddy!!!

  • 12/30/1950 & 11/22/1958 - My dad & his friends wondered this. (Music: Carl Stalling)

    1950-1951 - It's a short movie & a cold movie in cinemas around USA & Canada.

  • I'm with Claude. I HATE barking dogs.

  • One of Warner's unsung felines "Claude the Cat," because he always had it out for either Frisky Puppy or some darling little black kitten. They were a threat to his way of life & standing in the family household. Soooo funny.......

  • 6:35

Okay, ya mangy mutt. Let's see how YOU like it!

  • to me the music sounds better distorted

  • ones between 1940-56 are the best

  • Where can I get one of those two in one washer/dryer machines? I loved how the music revealed the cat floating out of the machine.

Yeah, that's normal. When the furnace is backing up into the house, blame the cat!

  • Brilliant! I love this one.

  • it was funny when the puppy got scared of the cat and did not know :)

  • "Why you filthy cat, I'll...." *Punt!* "Get out and stay out!!"

  • @NinjaGhostScorpion THUNDER, THUNDER, THUNDER, THUNDERCATS HOOOO!!!

  • hahahahahah love it!!!! 1:50-1:59

  • Love it - thanks for posting.

  • Does anyone notice how the puppy looks like a young Charlie Dog?

  • the cat is stoned at 5:18 -20

  • Interesting how the puppy is just a puppy, loud and annoying but not really malicious, while the cat is anthropomorphic.

  • thanks bud..always loved this cat and dog!!!
