there is no verse in the Quran allowing Mutah in the first place. Verse 24 of Surah al-Nisa is about Dowry, not Mutah. I explained about this on my video "Temporary Marriage is Haram"

you see they believe that when they pray to Ali, Ali then prays to Allah, just like the pagans believed they pray to their idols, and then their idols pray to Allah
but asking for intercession means asking someone to pray for you, not actually praying to that person
And the difference between Salafis and other Sonnis is whether this can be done after someone dies (or becomes Shaheed) but even the Salafis agree you can ask someone who is alive to do du'a for you

shaikh nasir al barraak (alive), ibn otheimeen, and some of the salaf did not view it KUFR (although its a major bid3a acc. to them) to ask the prophet (SAWS), but NEAR his grave, for there is no proof that the prophet hears EVERY voice from EVERYWHERE in EVERY language (except salawat, delivered by angels).

@Zakah1 Asking someone to pray when he is living is not a asking help through gaib....Becoz U see him and Talk to him.....And many did that in the time of Prophet SAW....they asked prophet Saw to pray for them....Asking intercession after death is asking help to a dead person and is undoubtedly Shirk...becoz U are seeking help of the dead through Gaib....Its claims like these causing all the Grave worshipping now we see ....

I already explained that since the Prophet (saw) became Shaheed he is not "dead" and so Sonnis generally support asking him for intercession with the exception of the Salafis
The Shias however worship their Imams and pray to them (without asking them to pray for them, but actually praying to the "Imam" himself) so they worship them and yet they claim that this act of worship (which is clear Shirk) is somehow the same as "intercession" and the Quran warns us of these monafiqin

@Zakah1 The Intercession u mentioned is 100% pure Shirk....But there is another intercession in my place which is not Shirk but a Bidaa....It is asking Allah SWT by the haqq and barkah of Prophet SAW ......They pray(Or ask hlp) to Allah SWT like this.."Oh Allah grant me paradise by the Haqq of Prophet SAW..

The Shias use the same argument for Ali who also became Shaheed, they say all "12 Imams" became Shaheed, however the Shias actually pray to their "Imams", they dont ask them for intercession, they pray to them in the same way the Kuffar pray to idols and the same way we pray to Allah, when they need help they say "Ya Ali Madad" (O Ali help me) or they ask another Imam or Fatimah
But thats not intercession, its WORSHIP, so they worship besides Allah and claim it is "intercession" like the pagans

Salafis agree that you can ask for intercession from someone who is alive, but they say you cant ask the Prophet any more after he died
The argument of those who do this is that the Quran says the Shohada (martyrs) are alive, and the Prophet (saw) was poisoned by a Jewish woman, so he was killed and became Shaheed, so he is alive

yes the Quran says that some Christians worship Mary, but NO CHRISTIAN would admit to worshiping Mary, however the Catholics admit to praying to her, but they say "we dont worship her, she is our intercessor!!"
And the Shias say the exact same thing, saying they dont worship their Imams but they are their intercessors even though they pray to them
So when the Shias deny praying to their Imams is worship, they must also deny that anyone worships Mary, even though the Quran says they do
