@Dubin619 They are absolutely nothing alike, if your mom rode intermediate she'd know Pelhams aren't even used in that level. Or at least have the sense to teach you about bits. Double bridles are designed to control both the lateral and vertical set of the head. They sit in two different portions of the mouth and apply different levels of pressure. A pelham is just the philosophy of leverage--leverage means more control, it just allows you to do it only when necessary.
