  • There are huge chunks of the original telecast missing...what a disappointment...Love the costuming and casting! Excellent! Of all the versions of Pride and Prejudices there are, this is my favourite!

  • I like how they take dialogue right from the book (=

  • "out swagger us all eh wickham" hahahaha funniest line

  • Wickham is not ugly at all , just passable looking for an Englsh gentleman/rogue. But Mr. Darcy has got a very attractive appearance and a gorgeous pair of eyes.

  • This isn't Wickham's first appearance. They meet outdoors. This is probably his second appearance.

  • If you guys want to see the BEST Wickham EVER watch Lost in Austen!!! :D

  • THIS IS A WONDERFUL PRODUCTION.

    THANK YOU

  • Mr. Wickham is not very agreeable at all, it is a disgrace to the pick such an actor.

I think it needed more work in the wardrobe and settings, it looks too false

  • yes in old england they were all runway models, like u

  • @colgjs I've laugh a lot reading your comment

  • Hmm...the actors in this versoin are generally better but they don't all suit their physical descriptions. In this version, Wickham is rather ugly, Jane is very average looking (if not less than average looking) and most of the Miss. Bennets are too old. Darcy is ok though.

  • Oh, I think just the same about Wickham and Jane, but I do like this casting for Elizabeth and Darcy A LOT... or better said the most of all :o)

  • If you judge their appearance in the modern perspective, of course, it would be quite different. But they were attractive enough for that time of period.

  • Darcy rocks!

  • I don't find Wickham very attractive at all! Bleck. What did she ever see in him when there was a Darcy around?

  • oooooooh i hate him SO MUCH

  • She must've felt so embarassed about how gullible she was when she found out Wickham tricked her.

  • A likeable Banbury tale.

  • Wicked Wickham...always about money. It never mattered what girl. Elisabeth wasn't long enough the fool that Lydia was. She was only fooled a short while...what is interesting is that once Darcy told her..she automatically believed his story over Wickham's, with no overt proof other than she suddenly liked him after visiting Pemberly. Hm. Wickham was the perfect catalyst, that is why he exists in all his charms. Otherwise it would be a straightforward romance. And that's jut not Austen.

  • but she compared her experience and notice how he seemed 2 be acting but only noticed this till after reading the letter.

  • Wickham would have married Lizzie, he would have, he was in love, scholars believed. But his character was made to be sympathized with, loved. Until later. XD

  • I doubt Wickham would have married Elizabeth. His financial problems and his personality would make it impossible. There are guesses in the book that he favored Lizzie at first, because he was mistaken as to her fortune.

  • Really? Because I've always been quite annoyed with him, in the book and the different movie versions.

  • Me too! Something in his eyes

  • i love wickham even if he IS evil.
