i honestly don't lyk this.. the acting is corny.. at first i was just keeping this thought to myself but then my i heard one of my classmate suddenly exclaimed "look. the acting is reallly corny." I looked at him and smiled thinking "I thought I was the only one."

Our Filipino teacher told us that the reason El Filibusterismo cannot be made into a movie is because it is too violent.

@thethomasian17 I agree... I guess they're afraid that a movie of Noli or El Fili will not be a hit nor will it attract an audience. It's the same when it comes to television series. Don't you notice; koreans can make television series based from their own history or literature (Jumong and Jewel in the Palace), but tv networks here cannot make tv series based on Noli or El Fili. I think that would be great, don't you?

Mr Joel Tore really is the right guy for the character of ibarra. I've already pictured it even b4 I watch the show or even b4 Rizal movie.

Regarding a copy of this video, I saw in CCP site. There are 13 episodes in 6 tapes(VHS), cost about 12000.

I'm not sure if it's updated, bcoz it is in VHS. But I think it is in VHS jst bcoz, VHS will last longer than VCDs. in terms of quality.

yup, the CCP is the only one has the copy of noli me tangere because they are the one who produce it. sadly, it still on VHS. though i agree, that VHS tape will last long than VCD, but VCD is much more convenient, i mean, easy to bring
