  • thanks for Upload. I like this song.

Corrupt players now have "analog records", since he could not. You can hear as nice.

Glad you and me posting the songs of the album containing this song is.

    arigatou (=^・^=)♪

  • The song is called Kiss This One Goodbye

  • as the song is called?

  • One of the BEST...!!

  • Compare this with some of the crap you see nowadays on SNL. Rock on Andrew Gold.

  • WOW!!! That's the Ricky John Lennon made so famous. I saw one in person the other day. It was larger than I thought. In those old videos Lennon made it look small.

  • @maripocita37 was it a 320 0r 325? 320s are slightly larger in neck size and im pretty sure Andrew is using one here. lennon had a small scale 325 is the one lennon owned and they were smaller by like 4 frets.

  • That was great. So much energy. The best.

  • Andrew Gold was a great singer/songwriter/musician! I miss him alot! BobbyK

  • @CrazeeNow Andrew was a big Byrds and Beatles fan. You will see him most of the time playing a fender Stratocaster, but here he play a rickenbacher that both of the mentioned bands used quite alot. Helping other musicians he played the strat. Doing his thing - rickenbacher . One great talented man and musician who will be sorely missed. RIP

  • Wonderful! RIP, Andrew! We miss you!

  • Fantastic performance!!!

    Andrew Gold (RIP), a legend.

Thank you for this great upload.

  • what song is it?

  • I'll never forget this musical performance on "Saturday Night Live". I had my television blasting it's little dinky speakers with that raw guitar and his rock kicking vocal. It was the final episode for the final season with the original cast. Andrew told me later that it was a coincidence that he was on that last show to perform that song but it still was extremely poetic and perfect timing to say "Aloha" to the cast in 1980.

Mahala from Hawaii so much for posting this.

  • @thetimemachine

I also remember the original airing of this performance - just loved it. This song is of Andrew's Whirlwind album.

  • Interesting sound. I like it. His guitar playing reminds me of Richard Lloyd.

  • Thanks fallenone2020-a really good appearance live!

  • Got it!
